The Sunday brunch here is one of the best in the area. It has everything you would want to each.
Excellent food and atmosphere
Came here for their Sunday brunch. Now, the food is excellent, no question, but this buffet is priced higher than the Wynn at Vegas, so given that price point I have very high expectations. The Wynn's spread is of much higher quality although the Sequoia is no slouch. AYCE crab cakes and prime rib were standouts, as well as free champagne and mimosas. The buffet line here focused a lot on manned stations, so perhaps that explains why their spread did not have as many options.

Sequoia DC offers a beautiful waterfront setting with a patio overlooking the Georgetown waterfront. The food is delicious and unique, with highlights like horseradish mashed potatoes. The venue alone already counts a lot, and the food was great, with a swirl margarita that was really good, along with two dishes to share that had good portions for two people. The guacamole with chips is also really tasty, and the view from the Potomac is stunning. Many guests praise the friendly service, especially during brunch, where servers are attentive and keep mimosas topped up. The setting on the water creates a relaxing and impressive atmosphere, perfect for celebrating birthdays and special occasions. The menu offers a variety of options, including a waffle bar, chocolate fountain, and many delicious desserts to satisfy any appetite. The outdoor patio provides a perfect spot to enjoy the scenery while dining. Parking can be a challenge, with paid parking decks and street parking nearby. Guests are advised to arrive on time for reservations, as the restaurant is accommodating but may not seat parties until all guests are present. Overall, Sequoia DC is a highly recommended destination for visitors to the Georgetown area, offering great food, beautiful views, and excellent service.
