The food and service were very good. It was so noisy that I couldn't hear my companion on the other side of a table--perhaps two feet away--and our hearing is normal.
Overpriced mediocre food, my pizza was on par with Quiktrip pizza, it took an hour and a half to get my food, bread is $6.00, and then they put a tip onto your receipt regardless of party size and then expect you to tip on top of it
Wonderful place with great food and great staff. It is very loud, but great happy hour drinks and appetizers will definitely go back.
We were a party of five. All of us loved their dishes. But I left the table and when I got back my half full bottle of wine was gone. They were rushing us to finish. That felt pretty tacky. I'll like tho back because of the great food but if you plan on leaving the table just for 5 minutes, make sure somebody is guarding your wine glass.
The restaurant was able to handle our Gluten and Peanut Free diners as well as out vegetarians!
My experience was amazing. From the time we walked in the door everyone showed great customer service. I hosted a friendsgiving there and had a box of gifts. They put them in a safe place until I needed them. The server was on point .... we never had to look for her. The manager was great. He had such great energy and came to check on us throughout the evening. Lastly the food was great!!!! I found my new spot.
Average food. Below average service. We were rushed through dinner, no mention of daily specials till asked, servers kept adding water to the incorrect glass and mixing with other drinks. I had mentioned at time of booking it was a birthday celebration, no acknowledgment of that, nothing! It was quite disappointing. Won't go back.
We dropped in for dinner after an event at the Phillips Collection. What a lovely surprise. A classic old style DC Italian restaurant with great service, food, and a lovely atmosphere. Well done. 100% we will be back!

Good food, but I can't believe in 2025 they can't split a bill.

You need to work on your reservation system. There was a long line and we waited 1/2 hour to be seated for a 7:30 reservation
The ligting will kill any ambience that you're trying to create... A friendly dinner with friends, a nice dinner with colleagues, taking out your kids and their friends from college, it doesn't matter what the food taste like or what the service is like... When the ambiance is so so off. The lights are blaring the entire night... No one turns them down no one adjust them. Nothing happens... It's a scene killer for sure... This is not the kind of place that you take a fun Group... This is where you bring grandma for an early dinner for pasta... It's a bummer... Because the food is tasty, but it's a very old-fashioned scene.
Food was good, burrata caprese was delicious. I had spaghetti with clams which was very good, a little oily at the end but good. My friend had the cacio e Pepe which she enjoyed. We had a glass of the Gavi wine, which was crisp and mild. I really enjoyed the tiramisu for dessert!
From appetizers to desserts, an authentic experience. We loved the warm bread basket. The Ceasar Salad was light, crisp and well portioned. The pasta was fresh and the sauce was perfectly seasoned, the chicken was plenty. The potatoe fingerlings were seasoned well also. The desserts were fresh sweet and a perfect ending to a wonderful meal. Service was amazing and there was much attention to every little detailed. Wonderful place to dine if you’re in DC

Service was good. Food was excellent. If you have the opportunity to eat outside, it's better. It gets very noisy inside.
