I was in DC for an education seminar, and our group of six ate dinner here. I ordered the Pappardelle Alfredo and for dessert, I chose the cheesecake, which was the best that I've ever had at a restaurant. It has a hint of lemon, and it was delicious. The staff was very attentive, friendly, and cheerful, which is important to me. I will definitely stop by again the next time I'm in DC.

Too bad the noise is really too loud. Extremely difficult to be able to speak without yelling, as well as a tiny table for 5 with uncomfortable chairs. But the dishes were really excellent.

Service was good, but everything else was pretty mediocre. The wine glasses were very dirty and no bread included which I feel is a must at any self-respecting Italian restaurant.

The Burrata Caprese was fine. If bread had been a part of it I think that would've justified the price.

I ordered a seafood pasta (forget the name) which was pretty basic and the shrimp / clams were a bit overcooked. I'm not an expert chef by any means, but I feel like I could do better at home.

Overall, I was disappointed by the food quality and dirty wine glasses. I think there are plenty of other better options within the same price range.

They let us in even though we weren't dressed super nice 😂, which seemed to be the case for most other customers. We sat for a bit before anyone got us water but once they made that first contact, we knew we were in good hands. The food was absolutely delicious. If I was a local, I would be back!

Zette Osteria is a gem! The food is outstanding, with excellent pizzas. The service is warm, attentive, and efficient, making the experience even better. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between cozy and stylish, creating a great atmosphere for any occasion. Best of all, the value for money is exceptional—high-quality dining without breaking the bank. Highly recommend!

In a group of about 20, I was the last one served. Not by a few minutes but by the time I finally got my food , most of my party had finished. Does pasta take that long??? If so, they should have warned me

Threw up a giant outdoor seating section that blocks the sidewalk completely. Super annoying.

I had a decent time here, but there are some things that could use some work. Firstly, when we arrived, the crowd of people by the host’s area was insane. Most people were left waiting for their reservation for 10-15 minutes after the allotted time. When we got to our seat near the bar in the back, the area was very cramped. There were staff members and patrons walking back and forth all the time and I felt like I was in the way. The service was alright, kind of slow, but it was a busy night so that’s expected.

I’d rate the food a 7/10 overall. The burrata was extremely underwhelming. The portions were way too small and it lacked any sort of creativity. The pappardelle alla bolognese redeemed itself, it was delicious and I could tell that the pasta was homemade. But they didn’t offer any Parmesan for it. The chocolate cake for dessert was also delicious.

Shockingly terrible food. Ordered the Funghi pizza which is listed on the menu as having a wild mushroom ragout and spinach topping. We were told by our server that this pizza would not have cheese, which we said was fine. What we received was a completely plain pizza crust with clumps of steamed spinach and sliced mushrooms thrown on top -- no sauce at all. A ragout is by definition a thick vegetable stew or sauce, so it's completely unclear to me why our pizza had no sauce at all. Perhaps the kitchen ran out of ingredients? I am honestly shocked that any restaurant would serve such a pathetic attempt at food. We also ordered the Linguine con Pancetta e Gamberi, which was again disgusting and a huge disappointment. We were looking forward to the seafood in this dish, but it was overwhelmingly fishy in a way that made me suspicious of its safety to eat. Stopped after a few bites, and I'm glad I did because I was incredibly ill by the time I got home. All in all, kicking myself for reluctantly paying $115 for what can accurately be described as the worst meal of my life. Could have gotten something better to eat at Applebee's. Will not be returning and would recommend others to eat literally anywhere else in DC. Don't waste your time and money here.
