I have been here many times. I really enjoyed this restaurant. I usually get a pizza or the Alfredo pasta dish and both are delicious.

What a delightful spot! Friend & I just had lunch here, and it was just exceptional.
Staff were attentive without smothering. Very friendly and seemed to enjoy being there.
I had the Ravioli della Nonna - truly delicious. Pumpkin ravioli with sage butter sauce and something on top that was crunchy g a bit sweet.
Friend had Salsiccia, and that sausage and sauce were also phenomenal. Enough bite to be interesting, but not super spicy.
The carpaccio al manzo was good, great flavor. Lots of dressing, probably more than it needed, and I should have asked for some bread to accompany it.
Attractive locale, wonderful service, great atmosphere, superior food. I look forward to my next visit.

Epi is her name—Our experience at Sette Osteria was made ten times better thanks to our server. She gave genuine Auntie Vibes—warm, grounding, and effortlessly attentive. From the moment we sat down, she brought comfort and care, the kind that makes you feel like you’re in good hands without her ever hovering. She gave thoughtful menu recommendations (and was spot-on), kept things flowing smoothly, and added a layer of love to the whole evening. You can’t fake that kind of energy—it’s just who she is. Grateful she was part of our brunch experience! :)

Deplorable service, the waitress spills drinks on people, drinks like beer for example are hot, the waiter makes mistakes in the dishes, brings unordered dishes, a waiter passes between the tables with the trash cans. The food is limited and the pasta is so cooked that it forms a compact block on the plate. Moreover, it’s extremely bland. I absolutely do not recommend!!!!

Food was good. The bolognese was nothing special. I rate this place a 3 star because of the service. The menu states that the risotto with the braised short rib was $38 but they charged us $42. When I confronted them, they said the price was $42. At first, they would not compensate us until I said it was not fair that we are getting overcharged when it clearly says $38 on the menu. At the end, they took off $4, but I did not appreciate the way I was treated because it’s the restaurant mistake for printing the price wrong.

We were seated quickly and the waiter was very attentive. The Pappardelle alla Bolognese and Penne alla Russa were great. We'll definitely visit again the next time we are in Washington DC.
