Went here while staying in town for Howard Homecoming. Wanted something later in the evening and they happened to be open and the food I got was good. Wings and fries and greens. Everything was good. They had a nice selection of things to get. They are prompt in greeting me. The area was a little rough, but nothing they can do about that, but just a heads up. I was appreciative of the good food
Best fried food in the area outside my own kitchen at home
I ordered a three piece fried fish whiting and Cajun rice. The fish was thin, over cooked and greasy with a fishy smell and the Cajun rice wasn’t Cajun but yellow bland flavored rice. For $14.40, I was truly disappointed.

Unfortunately the food was beyond words great but the area is high in crime so I wouldn't advise going when it's dark outside only when it's light . I truly enjoyed the greens , Mac and cheese and the tilapia fish dinner seasoned very well 😊
Slow ass HELL
Served fresh food!! Love the wings, mac, mixed tea. You can’t go wrong with the food here. Mohammed was great and definitely hooked a brother up.
The scallops are absolutely horrible ! Small, over cooked and hard , will never get them again

Incredibly delicious beef ribs that were perfectly seasoned and slow cooked (fall off the bone softness). The hush puppies were delightful! And the workers suggested trying a mix of lemonade and sweet tea, which also hit. The sweet potato pies we took away to bring back to Toronto also went over really well with our families.
My favourite part of the entire experience was that the whole store was staffed by Bengalis who made me feel right at home, will definitely revisit when I'm in DC.
