Yum sea food boil! The drinks can be *strong*, the food is delicious, spicy, fresh, and portions are generous. Based on the lighting at night, at thought this place would be more bar/cocktail lounge. Have dropped in a few times for lunch/early dinner with my kid and it’s been a delicious surprise. It’s not fancy, it’s one of those great neighborhood finds. The food is delicious and it’s really reasonable for the seafood quality.

My friends and I stumbled into shellfish for a quick bite on our lunch break. We saw this place on tik tok so we gave it a try. Upon arrival no one was there to greet us, shortly after the owner arrived and provided us with an apology-he recommended his best entrees!!! And service!! We had the snapper jerk fried rice, a crab boil , salmon bites and ohhh the honey old bay wings are finger licking good (and I am not an old bay fan).Although the location isn’t the best The place seems up and coming. food is good!! I will come back again! Try the snapper you wont regret it!!

The amount of disappointment I feel was really terrible for my $83 . I was recommended by a friend of the owners. The Food was absolutely disgusting and tasteless. Crab rolls were salty and mushy. The Lobster was over cooked and salty. The pasta had no flavor none no cayenne pepper no cajun nothing but cream along with three shrimp. Will never go back again it all went in the 🗑️. As a person who drove across town it was a waste of my gas and money. Bar had four women one bartender hyping up the food should have told me everything I needed to know.

I was very disappointed with my experience at Shellfish Market. The food was poorly prepared – no sauce, no crackers provided for the crab legs, which is unacceptable for a seafood restaurant. To make matters worse, the bartender did not know how to make a simple lemon drop and initially served it incorrectly.
Thankfully, our server Diamond stepped in, remade my drink perfectly, and provided excellent service. If it wasn’t for Diamond, this visit would have been a complete disaster.
Unfortunately, despite Diamond’s efforts, the overall experience was very poor, and I will not be returning. Diamond deserves recognition, but the restaurant itself needs serious improvement.

Food was delicious and staff was extremely nice. Ordered takeout for lunch of the catfish sandwich and salmon cheesesteak. It was so good we ordered dinner as well. The whiting wasnt as good as the catfish and the fries desperately need seasoning but everything else was great. Highly recommend.

Best boil in town. I love the garlic butter seasoning in my boil. Just don't kiss nobody till the next day! Staff was very nice helpful. Love it. Jeremy fried rice was the bomb too.

I was referred by one of my co-workers and once I went we had spectacular service from the bartender NuNu she said her name was the drinks were strong and the food was good as well i definitely refer anyone to go there

My husband and I absolutely enjoyed the food here. We had a feast. The portions are huge. Our server Tinka did an awesome job making sure we had everything we wanted. We will definitely be back and recommend this place to others. The only downfall was the pestie 2 flies and the window sill needs a better cleaning.

Recently called ahead an order for pick up hoping that it would be ready once I arrived in my Uber to just pay grab and go. I was told the policy for call in orders no problem but boy when I arrived about 15 minutes after the call I waited (additional 15 minutes) arrived home 3 blocks away and my food was not fresh (fish and fries). One cook and the waitress was also the bartender and it was busy. The owner took the call and told me the policy he had to leave and reappeared when I got my food. I had to pay Uber extra because of the wait so I will not place an order for pick up no more.

I absolutely loved this place! Tik Tok led me here and no lies were told/showed. My mom and I went to DC to grab a quick bite and drinks! I had a mango martini and she had a strawberry dream drink - both to die for! I loved the buffalo shrimp! My mom had the fried red snapper with the jerk Thai fried rice! It was the perfect blend of spice and everything nice coupled with the remoulade drizzle. Our server was our bartender as well - she was very sweet and attentive while operating as one on the floor! I will definitely be coming back! If you love seafood, come here! I'm wondering if they offer a reward/points program - if not, it may be something that they would want to consider. 💕
