For a good deal Shenanigans is the place however it gets PACKED on a weekend. the staff still get your drinks fast. Just know if you go for the power hour it’s going to be wall to wall with young adults and weak drinks. my vodka cran was giving just cran. but for a couple bucks not a bad way to start the evening

My friends and I went here late night on the weekend and we had a fun time. Great little bar with friendly bartenders. The Smithwicks was especially refreshing. Probably come back for St Paddy’s Day. 🍀

If you want to feel like you're in college again, or are in college, this is a great place to be. Got into a lil argument with a bartender a few years ago, he dossed me with water to win the argument. We laughed and he gave me a couple free shots. I've brough multiple friend groups here on Friday and Saturday nights. Always leave here content with the money spent.

I am here a good amount and normally I have a great time but this last Saturday I watched an employee off shift scream at both of the bartenders. He also had other customers join in on yelling at them. It honestly ruined the good time I was having.
Came here with a group while at a conference. It's sort of a tight-spaced pub with stools at the bar a maybe a half dozen circular tables with 2-3 chairs along the wall opposite the bar. They try to present as a standard Irish pub, although the cable lighting around the perimeter and 90s pop music somewhat took away from that vibe.
Does offer a decent selection of Irish beverages (including Magners for cider) and standard food options. Guinness Stew was extremely hot and tasted fine, although the portion could be larger since it doesn't come with potatoes like it would across the pond.

Shenanigan’s is one of the best spots in the Adams Morgan area. It's a genuine Irish pub with free entry, making it an easy choice for a night out. The first floor tends to be less crowded than the upstairs, so you can usually find a place to sit. There's a bar on each floor, ensuring you won’t have to wait long for a drink. Prices are quite expensive. It does get pretty packed on Fridays and Saturdays, adding to the lively atmosphere

The worst place you could ever go to, they are rude and unprofessional. I had the worst experience ever at this place. I would never recommend to anyone who wants to have a bite or even a good time. The way they treated me as a person of colour was disgustingly horrible, I can’t find the worst to express how I felt. If you have a little heart in you, you should never step inside this place.
