Went for dinner after visiting Smithsonians. Had an excellent meal with family. Some had breakfast, and others had burgers. Everyone said their selected meals were excellent.Pics are from baseball game at nationals Park, which was across the diner. A game was being played.

Ate here 3 times during the week because it’s a comfortable place in the Navy yard area to take your teen kids with decent variety. All day breakfast is also a plus. Food was just alright to me, nothing to go back for, but nothing to dislike. My husband liked his crab cakes and burger. I tried the club sandwich, flat iron steak and eggs benedict. My son liked his eggs benedict. My coffee wasn’t great; it was strong and they ran out of cream, so I used milk. Service was pretty good, but at night the music is a little too loud so we couldn’t hear the server or each other unless repeating or yelling was involved.

Loved this diner so much we had Saturday dinner and Sunday brunch here! Everything taste delicious and the portions were great. Ezra was very informative about the menu and super friendly. They also have outdoor dining for those warm, sunny days.Dishes we tried and loved: hickory smokehouse Cheddar burger, turkey sandwich, shrimp scampi, apple pie stuffed French toast, lumberjack breakfast, power breakfast, Philly steak omelet, grandmas pink lemonade(cocktail), hibiscus lemonade, and raspberry iced tea.

Lovely downtown location just outside Nationals Park. Beautiful out door seating and multilevel indoor seating.Fast service even on Easter Sunday!Very accessible with spaced out seating an elevevator to upper level.Vegetarian options: Excellent Vegan and Veggie selection. They have egg replacer, veggie sausage and oat milk pancakes.Wheelchair accessibility: There is an elevator to upper levels. And spaced seating for mobility.

I had their egg benedict and crab cake. The egg benedict was delicious. I thought the crab cake was pretty average. Their grilled cod was also tasty.

An oasis in a sea of fast food. Silver Diner has all the comfort food favorites you need when you want something hearty and familiar. But also, props to staff and manager who patiently and courteously handled an unruly group of young patrons.

The meatloaf was amazing!! Absolutely delicious. The cocktail was as well. Service was fabulous and the Friday brunch atmosphere was relaxed and peaceful. Brought the dog, who enjoyed the sausage patties. A wonderful dining experience.

This a good place for a bite in the morning or a relaxing dinner in the evening. The menu is okay but could use some better dining options. For breakfast, stick with the basics, trying to over create a simple meal takes away from the meal. The pancakes do need some work though, not sure it they are trying to use gluten free flour but the pancakes just aren’t right. The dinner menu is good but could use some more variety. I do recommend a stop in and enjoy a good meal (just stay away from the pancakes)
