Brunch was amazing! Great staff, nice sized portions, no wait time with reservation. Great aesthetics. Bottomless mimosas are a must. Went for a Galentines and the experience was top tier. Shrimp and grits are chefs kiss. Lamb chops were tender. Parking garage is underneath with an elevator directly in front of building. Will be back soon

A lovely early evening sitting at the bar then dinner with friends. It was Restaurant Week and the menu was great, food delicious and a good value. Staff was pleasant, interested and professional. Glad we choose to come.

I went here for my birthday and had an amazing experience. The place was absolutely beautiful, the food was immaculate, and our waiter was so kind and welcoming. Everything from start to finish was awesome. I will definitely be going back!

Brunch at La Vie was fantastic. Beautifully seasoned dishes, bold flavors, and an unbeatable penthouse view. When snow started falling outside mid-brunch, it somehow made the whole day even better. Bottomless bellinis didn't hurt either. A perfect winter afternoon — would absolutely return.

We have a few issues from our visit last night but these two bothered me the most: 1) Server never disclosed there was a 20% service charge already tacked on the food bill, Just did a quick rundown of items on his handheld (on a 5 inch display in a dimly lit room) and promptly went to signature page where the gratuity boxes showed. Options were "no tip" and I think 3%, 5% and 7%. I asked him right away why 7% was the highest preset option? He just said it's ok we don't have to leave him any tip which is unusual. I told him that's not right and he again said it's ok if "No Tip'. so I still clicked on 7% (I sort of felt bad I didn't leave the usual % I leave. We get home and I reviewed our bill. We were overcharged on shrimp cocktail (menu says $25, our bill said $30. Also there was a 20% service charge he never mentioned. That was a scam clearly. 2) Service needs improvement (considering we gave almost a 30% gratuity because of their undislcosed 20% service charge. There was also a restaurant employee rolling silverware in one of the open tables. Our used plates were not getting cleared . Bottom line= you can only scam me once, not going back there again even if the penthouse had a great view. Cannot recommend this restaurant to family and friends. Sorry

Staff was knowledgeable and attentive. Went to celebrate a friends upcoming nuptials, and they surprised her with a special dessert marking the occasion. Food was incredible and portions were generous. Looking forward to my next visit.

I came to La Vie with high expectations, and the experience fell far short. We were seated by the igloos, where servers repeatedly opened large floor-to-ceiling accordion doors, blasting us with cold air every 20–30 minutes. It was disruptive, uncomfortable, and poorly thought out for indoor guests. This was a birthday dinner, and the service was nowhere near what I expected. We requested a birthday cake, which arrived with an unlit candle. The server then had to leave the table to find a lighter, creating yet another awkward and disruptive moment. Overall, service felt inattentive and unprofessional. The food was underwhelming and not worth the price point. I was especially looking forward to the lamb kofta kebab, which arrived burnt and hard to chew. The penthouse experience was particularly disappointing, and the host responsible for directing guests was noticeably unfriendly and unwelcoming. Given the reputation and hype surrounding this restaurant, the lack of warmth, attention to detail, and basic hospitality was surprising. I would not return.
