I have never ever heard of a slipstream, i was looking for the bank and got lost and decided to wander in, i liked the space as it gave coffee bar inside of your business ‘s business the barista was nice and made the great suggestion of the chocolate chip brown butter cookie! the latte wasn’t my jam after all but I can tell it was made well and he even came over to where i sat to ask me how i felt about my order and even then got me a glass of water which was super nice ! also i overheard leadership strategizing how to get the brand out there, so my advice which literally no one asked for is to find a brand or an influencer and do a pop up! “ parke x slipstream, loveshackfancy x slipstream , rollerrabbit x slipstream , lawless x slipstream” let them make their own drink or exclusive available at the pop up only merch, and im sure you’ll get yourselves out there in no time! also dont love the paper straws!

Tried the seasonal pandan latte and was a little let down. The coffee tasted pretty acidic and I couldn’t really get the pandan or condensed milk flavors. For almost $10 with tip, I was expecting a bit more. I’ve had better coffee (and pastries!) in the city for the same price.

Outstanding espresso drinks with terrific overall attention to detail. Strawberry matcha - perfect 10!! But gotta offer glassware for dine-in consumption. Cappuccino in paper isn’t the same!

Best , smoothest coffee in DC, and as a coffee snob, I’ve been looking far and wide. Still not perfect, a bit too milky and served too hot, but that’s a US wide issue.

For a quick breakfast sandwich, one of the best I have ever had.

Good oat milk cortado and floral pour over. They’re even doing coffee tastings on Thursday’s - wish I could have made it. Really friendly staff

Stopped here for a quick coffee in the morning and got one of their seasonal lattes. The first item I ordered was out of stock which was disappointing but I got the sweetie pie latte. It was pretty good. The staff were friendly and efficient.

What a find! Great drinks, great food, and amazing service. The atmosphere is an impressive combination of comfortable and professional allowing for a causal meet-up with friends or a professional meeting over coffee. I’ll definitely be back!

Located inside the 1201 building, main entrance on I street. Ordered a hot chai (they make their own concentrate!) and iced oat magic Basil Matcha. Both were so great! The uniqueness of the basil in the matcha was a nice touch :) Top 3 DC coffee shop

Jammy Bacon and Egg sandwich was great. Straight Kanzu espresso was well done, if a bit longer than I prefer. It was served in glass with a spoon and sparkling water on a small wooden platter. It was the first pull of the day, and I appreciate that the barista sampled a small portion to test before serving it.
