Good oat milk cortado and floral pour over. They’re even doing coffee tastings on Thursday’s - wish I could have made it. Really friendly staff

Stopped here for a quick coffee in the morning and got one of their seasonal lattes. The first item I ordered was out of stock which was disappointing but I got the sweetie pie latte. It was pretty good. The staff were friendly and efficient.

What a find! Great drinks, great food, and amazing service. The atmosphere is an impressive combination of comfortable and professional allowing for a causal meet-up with friends or a professional meeting over coffee. I’ll definitely be back!

Located inside the 1201 building, main entrance on I street. Ordered a hot chai (they make their own concentrate!) and iced oat magic Basil Matcha. Both were so great! The uniqueness of the basil in the matcha was a nice touch :) Top 3 DC coffee shop

Jammy Bacon and Egg sandwich was great. Straight Kanzu espresso was well done, if a bit longer than I prefer. It was served in glass with a spoon and sparkling water on a small wooden platter. It was the first pull of the day, and I appreciate that the barista sampled a small portion to test before serving it.

I went to Slipstream and got a vanilla latte. I enjoyed the consistency, but I would prefer a better balance between the sweetness of the vanilla and the potency of the coffee.

Beware of hidden fees. The house coffee is good - not great - but their pricing is out of control. It is $3.75 for a 12oz coffee, which is really high already, and then they add on 10% tax and an automatic 18% gratuity, so it's really a $5 small coffee. (Note: When a tip is automatically applied, it's just an undisclosed service fee.) The more interesting filter coffees (not drip) are some of the best I've ever had, but they're now about $8 for 16oz with this hidden charge. I won't be back.

This place is a ripoff. The drinks are overpriced as it is and then they force a “gratuity” charge on top of them. We need to push back against this nonsense. Will never return.

Cappuccino is the most expensive in DC, now they added a mandatory $1 tip as well. Can only afford this place as a once a week treat

The baristas are really nice guys, brew consistently amazing coffee. It's a nice, almost hidden-in-plain-sight spot to get work knocked out.

Coffee and breakfast sandwiches were great. I wish they shipped their coffee.

The new sweet potato latte has the texture of curdled milk ? people want the flavor of a sweet potato/gourd/pumpkin/etc, not actual like small chunks. It was like a gross version of a boba tea with a bad topping.
