Was here for a work meeting and it was fun! They had branded paddles and ping pong balls and we had a tournament. The staff walked around with food and helped get us pop they were very nice! The food was good too especially the Mac and cheese and chicken. A cool spot to be!

1st time. If you tip the bartender right, they'll reciprocate. Need to get my ping pong skills back up ???

Waited a super long time for an expensive yet mediocre drink. Bartender was slamming things around like she wasn't happy about being there. We left as soon as we finished our drinks. It'd be one thing if the drinks were the way they were and the service was fantastic. Not paying top dollar to have someone be nasty to me though. Definitely not my kink ??

SPIN is my friend and I's go-to spot after a Wizards game! Just down the street in Metro Center is SPIN, a social bar with plenty of miniature games from ping pong to large Jenga. While it is a bit confusing at times at how to get a game in or where you can play, the SPIN staff is friendly and accommodating. The drinks are consistent and the DJ plays hits all night long. A great place to let your hair down with your friends and dance like nobody's watching!

Spin has all the ingredients to make the perfect date night or going out with friends. Downstairs has a very industrial feel with a modern look from the exposed concrete pillars and wires you can still see from the ceiling. At the same time it is very up scale and modern from the deep blues and brown leather chairs. The menu is extremely easy to navigate and you really can't go wrong with anything from what I saw. My friend and I split a couple things we got the Mac n cheese balls which were amazing and they are served with a dipping sauce that in my opinion, should be served with everything because it was that tasty and worked well with the other items. The short rib sliders are probably some of the best sliders I've ever had and they should really offer that in a full size sandwich option or at least give you the option to order more then the 2 sliders it comes with. The birria boa buns were the least favorite for us. Visually appealing, but lacking in the flavor department. Birria alone should pack a major flavor punch and it just wasn't there. I relied heavily on the dipping sauce from the Mac n cheese bites to really help the boa buns along. My only complaint and i assume there is a reason for this, but there are multiple ping pong tables, but if you want to play it's $50 dollars. I didn't ask too much information past hearing the price so im not sure if that's flat rate play as much as you want or the price per hour. I did find out if you go on Tuesday after 9pm you can play for $9 per hour which in my opinion should be the daily deal. There were also some other random bar games i could see like oversized connect 4. Not sure how much it cost to play those.

I love this place. I come here once a year with my local Dads Group from my community and everyone has a blast in a half.We usually go during the middle of the week when there's no crowds and the place is mostly empty after 7 pm.The staff is exceptional and I've yet to have a bad waiter. The management staff should be very pleased with their training and hiring because they have exceptional people working for this entertainment venue. We will gladly continue to visit SPIN Washington DC as long as they stay in business.

They put us at a table about a foot from another table despite other tables being open. It totally sucked , the couple next to us kept sending balls over. We were nice about it, just re-played our point. We sent 2 over and both times they acted like we interrupted the Olympics. Absolutely no reason to put 2 tables that close other than just making $. We didn't even finish our hour.

Had such a fantastic time at Spin for my birthday. We stopped in to get out of the cold and what an unexpected delight! Our server Trip took such great care of us. She suggested a wonderful restaurant for dinner. We had a nice conversation about the city. The establishment was clean. The equipment was in fantastic condition. The service was prompt and the food was delicious that catered to our dietary restrictions. My impromptu cupcake and goodies rounded out my birthday celebration. We played ping pong but there were all kinds of activities to choose from. Highly recommend this establishment!

It’s a cool spot but just ridiculously expensive for ping pong and they are strict about being on time to your reservation so be aware of that. There was also a DJ when we went which made it feel more like a club than a bar. I was screaming at my friends to say anything.
