The Sports and Social on U Street was really fun! I'd never been there before, but decided to meet some friends there for the Eagles/Packers playoff game. The crowd seem to be older (mostly the late-20s and 30+ crowd), which I appreciated because I was worried a U Street sports bar would be full of drunk young "frat boy" types. shout out to the manager tonight!! my husband and I came in for the Bills game and he was excellent at accommodating us on a side "big screen" as it wasn't the preferred game of the evening! excellent atmosphere and great food! this was our 3rd visit and we will return!
It's always such a good time here! They cut the music so you can actually hear the game and then during commercial breaks the DJ cues up. They have HUGE wings and they're so good. Drinks are pretty good too. Such a great vibe for Sunday football.
