I've been here about 5 times this year after being told about it by my niece. The quality and customer service are consistent and I have no complaints. It's pricey but eh it's DC and rent is expensive and living wages are being paid.
Ordered a matcha latte with oat milk—delicious, smooth, and perfectly balanced. Union Market was crowded, and though Spot of Tea is hidden in the back, it’s absolutely worth finding and visiting here.
We've only been in DC for 2 days, and somehow, we've made it back here twice. I've been on the hunt for great matcha when I travel, and this has definitely made the top of my list. We ordered the Mango Yuzu and Mango Matcha drinks the first day. Then, on the second day, we ordered the Mango Matcha and Lychee Matcha again. If you like your matcha sweet, I recommend ordering at least extra sweet and adding dairy milk to make the drink creamy. You can definitely taste...
