We really looked forward to our first visit at St. Anselm but left very disappointed unfortunately. The atmosphere, service and cocktails were all very good. The place was very busy with good energy but service was prompt and attentive. The sides (sweet potato, brussel sprouts) were nothing special though the biscuits were great. The downfall came when we ordered the axe handle steak which we requested medium temp. The steak was extremely disappointing. It came out rare, was chewy...
Get the oysters, ribeye and mashed potatoes at least! The draft wine threw me off cause I’m not a fan of chilled red wine but overall a lovely experience and I would 100% come again.
Be warned: skip their cakes unless you enjoy dry ass (hefty though) slice of cake that is in desperate need a healthy dollop of ice cream (which is does not come with but honestly should)

Amazing Date Night!
Had an incredible date night at St. Anselm last Friday. The rustic ambiance was beautiful and romantic, perfect for the occasion.
Our server Denali was fantastic—great recommendations and such a positive attitude that really enhanced our experience. The drinks were delicious, and the duck pot pie was to die for. OMG, seriously amazing!
For dessert, we got creative and ordered two of their biscuits to make our own creation with chocolate...
