Ate dinner at the wine bar. The food ( three mains and three apps) were all interesting and delicious. Your inclusion of. 20% gratuity is puzzling at best. The only service we received was the wine being brought to our table ( no taste, no pour, no “is it, ok?” The same thing with the food. Everything was brought to the table at once. Deposited and that was the last we saw of and heard from the person who delivered it. I not sure what I paid 20% gratuity for.
This was an ok place for food. Pasta was pretty high quality, especially the truffle Mac and cheese. However, the service has something to be desired. Not only is there a mandatory 20% gratuity on a party of any size (while still asking for a tip), you have to order on your phone and the pitcher of water is left at the table. They compel you to tip while providing half the service. Might as well have gotten take out. Will not be dining here again.
The food is good and it arrives quickly, but I'm more used to having a waiter than relying on just a QR code for ordering (it's just my preference). The seating was also a bit uncomfortable for eating ..it was too low for the tables.
