The person working the register today was amazing! I think his name was Yiuan. Super friendly and had such a great attitude, even though it was busy. They made me feel welcome right away and double-checked my order to make sure everything was right. Honestly, their good energy made my coffee run a lot better!
The place was amazing. I thought it was really cool that all the employees were deaf. At first my dad couldn’t figure out how to order with all the workers being deaf. The food was the same.
This is a wonderful experience of community inclusion! Thank you Starbucks for providing this opportunity. I heard about this location the last time I was in the area and made sure to put in the time to come this time. I am glad I did. Friendly staff that were fun! Yes, there may be some communication barriers for those who are not familiar with ASL, but there’s ways around that and it’s an uplifting and beautiful place.
