The seating is completely separate from the actual store. Sure it’s a door over, but weird. Staff are friendly and worked fast. Not much to say since there isn’t much here. One of the lesser pleasing Starbucks as a store, not the staff.
I ordered around 9:25 and it’s been 20 minutes of my order still being received. I understand the frustrations that this Starbucks is overwhelmed considering it is connected to a hotel. After 20 minutes, my order is finally in progress. Staff are SUPER friendly though. Advice: I suggest ordering online ahead of time like 20-30 minutes ahead if you order during morning rush hour.
This Starbucks at 550 C St SW is a convenient stop if you’re near the National Mall or just need a quick caffeine fix. The staff was polite, and my drink was made correctly, which is always appreciated. The atmosphere is what you’d expect from a typical downtown Starbucks — busy but efficient. While it’s reliable and gets the job done, I can’t help but think how much more energy and fun I get from places like Dutch Bros. Still, if you’re in the area and need your standard...
