Cool food and they have a traditional Bocca game

Too sweet. Way too sweet. Ate only because I was starving. My husband's food was also extremely sweet. I don't recommend this restaurant.

I learned about this tiny gem of a Thai restaurant when returning to DC on a business trip and staying nearby. I wish I'd known about Royal Thai when I lived in the capital! It's an unassuming presence on H Street and easy to walk by: the interior is intimate, about a dozen tables and a bar. The menu is classic Thai; the key is implementation and very reasonable prices. I ordered the Kra Prow on the server's advice. The portion was large and the chef certainly didn't skimp on the chicken. It was very spicy, so I was glad for the tea and water--but not overwhelming spicy, either. If I had more time in DC, I would have worked my way through the menu. The servers were attentive but not overly so, leaving me to my repast and reading in peace and not pushing me out preemptively. Looking around, others in the restaurant clearly were enjoying both the food and relaxing atmosphere.

Delicious food, beautiful environment. Prompt service. The food had a perfect blend of seasonings. Would definitely visit again!

Stayed across the street at the Fairfield, and had a late dinner take-out our first night. So good we ate there 2 more times during our five day stay. Absolutely the best Thai I've had in years. Good menu selection, great flavors. Only down side is limited seating.

Pad Thai, Shrimp Dumplings, and Spicy Fried Rice were amazing. The staff was very friendly and responsive. The kids loved their choices. Would recommend to anyone visiting.

Fun place with friends. We bowled, and had a great flatbread pizza along with a beer or two.

It is right next to the canal, and has outdoor seating.

Fun bowling alley in Georgetown. Not too expensive during daytime hours.

The place was empty on a Sunday night! So, avoid the crowds and give it a try.

Great happy hour drinks and food selection! $5 Jim Bean and $7 pizza and flat breads... all I need ❤️

Happy hour menu is good

It does have bowling and bocce but reserve tables in advance and abandon pre-1990s conceptions of Americana bowling.
