Been a favorite bar of ours for years now. If you love unique amaro-forward cocktails, old movies, cozy spaces, great conversations with strangers (usually about cinema), this may be a bar for you too!
Such a treat whenever we go. I love seeing movies I haven’t seen before that usually produce a good laugh amongst the crowd. Some of the chairs are uncomfortable (especially if you’re not tall and your feet can’t reach the floor) so arrive early to get a good seat. The bar alone is worth the visit because the cocktails are so good, nice and strong and unique. Movies for the following month are usually released quite late the month before so keep an eye out and book fast...
A truly amazing staple in the mt pleasant neighborhood. Single screen theaters are community gems and suns cinema commitment to arthouse / indie / classic cinema is something to cherish.The drinks are great and they sell light snack concessions as well. The patio is open nightly if you just want to hang out and they play movies by the bar inside !
