This is a fantastic bar with incredibly knowledgeable bartenders passionate about both beverage and film. They have a thoughtful movie selection that rotates every month, and there is a projector downstairs in the bar in addition to the theater upstairs that plays movies as a backdrop—super charming. This is a one of a kind space in DC that is cherished by the neighborhood!
A really special place. Great film programming, an innovative cocktail menu, (plus extensive amaro selection) & a solid team of people. There are few places with this much character in DC ❣️

I'm not, but I do love their monthly themes, variety of showings, and divey character. They put an intermission in all of their movies (!!!!) which is great, and the bar is stocked with excellent cocktails but tends to get busy quickly. A Mt Pleasant neighborhood staple for sure.
