Just had the opportunity to taste their food - during the week. A bit concerned with previous reviews but gave it a try. I had chicken ribs and brisket, and all very tender and delicious plus Mac and cheese (real cheese) and collards. The collards were tender and could not put my finger on the subtle spice but I liked it. I typically don't eat barbecue nor Mac & cheese, so I enjoyed it. STAFF ALL VERY FRIENDLY!

I got the mixed meat order; two meats and macaroni & cheese. It was twenty bucks. There is more than enough meat for one person to have 3-4 meals. The mac & cheese should last two meals unless you want to pig out. Haha “get it” pig out while eating pig. Funny …..no? I got the pork ribs and brisket. The ribs were very meaty and had a nice Smokey taste (see pictures with the smoke ring on edge of the ribs). Brisket was tender and tasty but a little too lean to make this pappy happy. Mac & cheese is cheesy, but it ain’t like “big momma’s. What you waiting for “goin git yo grub on” it may not be lip smacking but it can be belly bustin.

Today, I made my "Sunday Foodie Move" and sought out a new restaurant within a reasonable distance. I decided on BBQ, and my Google Search landed me here. I had the Ribs and Chicken with Collard Greens. AT LEAST "Top 5" in D.C. as far as my BBQ experience has been in D.C., which has not been great.

Came here thinking that it was a sit down dinner, however was disappointed as it is for take out only. Bought the full size pork ribs slab which consists of 12 pcs of ribs. They were huge and succulent. The ribs were juicy and delicious. Also ordered the coleslaw and the Mac & Cheese.
Excellent BBQ. Ordered online and order was prepared in a timely manner. Order was correct and complete. Worth the $$.

They’re selling a Groupon but refuse to accept them in store. I came in October of 2022 and they refused me. They even had a sign up at the counter. I told the employee that the Groupon is still being offered for sale in the hopes that they might take some action to get it down if they’re not accepting it anymore. I let it go because hopefully it was just an honest error or something. It's been almost a year now and they *still* have the Groupon up for sale.Only 2 possibilities I can think of:1) they're doing it on purpose to bait and switch people to the store but still charge them full price2) ownership change? Old owners sold Groupon but new owners aren't. But too lazy to contact Groupon and actually get it sorted out?Either way, it's no excuse. It needs to be fixed. Bubble tea was like $7 normal price and pretty standard. Management needs to contact Groupon and remove it from sale. Simply refusing the vouchers at the store is not acceptable.

Got a Groupon online, but when you get to the store, they tell you that the offer isn't valid, which is deceptive. If the deal isn't available, they should do everything to remove it. Ended up buying a halo halo smoothie at full price. Was ok. More bummed about the Groupon issue. They should have offered a small discount as good customer service but they didn't really seem sympathetic at all.

Don't waste your time. I went and I ordered, mild wings, a brisket sandwich and mac and cheese. The sandwich was cold the meet was not flavorful and it was tough. It was trash. The wings were carryout wings. Iont know how to explain it without being rude but being from DC, carryout Buffalo wings never hit. They even use that sweet unoriginal mumbo sauce, trash. When you go in and see the people serving you, you will know I told no lie. Now I left a review on day one but the reason I am back with a more detailed review is because they playing with me and my money. On August 8th as I was driving back to Charles County, I called spoke with a lady name Blessed ( lil young Asian girl who gave me my food). I asked for a refund, she didn't even want to know whyShe put me on hold and said jermeie has to complete the refund. He is not there but he would do it tommorrow and she would call me to say complete. Next day nothing so I called. I got a new lady because Blessed wasn't there. New lady was texting blessed who says yes it's done. I said what is my name because it's on the receipt. I felt like i was being brushed off. I go back on hold for a long time. This time they put an aggressive black man on the phone to tell me about jermeie again and that he will call and let him know I am requesting a refund. So i said BUT blessed and her homegirl said it was complete. So I ask him for jermerie number, he can't do that. He brushed me off and I am still waiting. I call today and the phone just rings and rings each time it's cool.Long story short don't support these people. The food is trash. They are liars. Everything in that location in DC has been trash they are just there for the fast buck.Jermeie maybe now you will refund my money and return my call.
