Excellent place for authentic Japanese sushi. The nigiri and sashimi was delicious. They also have some more American style maki but we didn’t try them this time. They were a little short staffed but made sure we had everything we need and were very friendly.
We were walking by after our meeting at the White House and decided sushi sounded good! This little place had no wait at 7 pm so we decided it was a good place to decompress.The menu was reasonably priced for the sashimi platters and well below what we pay in Hawai'i for sushi rolls. Nice and fresh and really well prepared.The staff was amazing accommodating and put up with us staying a few minutes after closing.The hot tea and miso soup was absolutely integral to defrosting...
The food was good and there was a good selection of sake. The service was excellent (even though they only had two staff doing both table waiting and sushi making).I wish there was more roll selection/variety and an option for larger boats/platters - we had to order mostly piecemeal.Very expensive restaurant.
