I walk to this location at 624 E Street, NW almost everyday for lunch. I always order via the Sweet Green app. Whenever I walk in to pickup my order, Katie and her team are always so friendly and instantly welcome me with big smiles, my order is always prepared and ready when I get there and it’s always made correctly. Katie and her team provide the best customer service and pay attention to the smallest details.

Found sweetgreen and stood in line for the Guacamole Greens salad. The line went really quickly and the service was fast and friendly. The salad itself while it had nice ingredients and came with a piece of bread, was rather flavourless. I cannot say I will be rushing back to try a different option, as there are other places I’ve found that are nicer.

I was overcharged at a Sweetgreen location and was not given a receipt. Customer service has not been able to find the receipt so I think I was charged for two bowls instead of one.

Absolutely disgusting. There appear to be very few safety standards upheld by the employees at this location. For example, I saw an employee attempt to throw an avocado in the trash, just to miss and leave it on the ground while prepping a customer’s bowl in the assembly area, in full view of other customers. The employee just shrugged and walked away after ringing a customer up, leaving the avocado on the floor next to the trash. I also saw the same employee literally throw a set of used tongs into a clear bin filled with dirty tongs that was sitting in the middle of the assembly area floor near the abandoned avocado (please note that there were at least 10 tongs piling up in the bin). To add insult to injury, this same employee didn’t even prepare the customer’s bowl with an apron on, which appears to be standard amongst all locations, and listened to them yell and complain while prepping food in the back. Their yelling could be heard at the front of the restaurant. Very unprofessional and unsanitary behavior. But what was most disturbing was the fact that the employees did all of this in full view of customers. If this is what they do in front of customers, just imagine what they do when we aren’t looking…
