I usually enjoy sweetgreen and their hospitality all the time. This time, I felt extremely disrespected and disappointed at this location. The employee was very rude with his approach and mannerism. There was a conflict that caused confrontation between me and him. The manager even apologized for his behavior but I was so irritated and ready to go. I did not want to make a scene. I’m highly annoyed because this is not the typical behavior I get when I come here. At checkout, I was asking for a bag to go from a different employee and a fork was put into my face by the man who originally took my order. I was confused because I was not even speaking to him. He said no words and walked off.

Ordered via Uber Eats and paid extra for an additional piece of salmon. What I received was one small portion that had been split in two—not actually two separate pieces. For a meal that cost over $30, this felt misleading.

I went back inside and explained that I had ordered two pieces of salmon but only received one. They did provide the additional piece I paid for, but I noticed they had to get salmon from the back since they appeared to be out in the front display. It seems like they were trying to cut corners by splitting one piece rather than getting fresh salmon, probably to avoid restocking sooner.

The fact that they initially tried to pass off a split portion as “extra” is concerning. It makes you wonder if this is standard practice for delivery orders, assuming customers won’t notice or come back to check.

For the price point and reputation, customers should get exactly what they pay for from the start, not have to return to claim what was already purchased.

I ordered the new KBBQ bowl and was very excited for it after trying the sample. But there is NO steak in my bowl and they gave me sweet potatoes?? Only found out after I got back with my bowl - not even a “sorry we ran out do you want chicken instead”?? This is what we pay for now?? I even tipped and now I just feel dumb to even still come here.

I stop by Sweetgreen for takeout about once every two weeks, and it's always a great experience! Tonight, I had the Chicken Pesto Parm, and it was delicious as usual. It doesn’t look as great after being all mixed together but it was great! The location is super convenient, right off 14th St NW and W St NW, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. There’s plenty of seating inside, plus a few tables outside on the sidewalk for when you want to enjoy the weather. They’re open every day from 10:30 AM to 10 PM, so it’s easy to stop by whenever I’m craving a healthy, fresh bowl. Highly recommend Sweetgreen for anyone looking for a tasty, nutritious meal!

Her bubbly personality and warm smile made enjoying my meal 100x better she literally brightened up my day! Keep up the wonderful work, Emely! You are amazing!! My experience with Sweetgreen was not how I envisioned it to be let alone being my first time I wanted to try something new and healthy. There were a lot of options to choose from but didn’t know how the ordering system works. When it was my turn I asked the team member Nataly to give me options of popular salads which she said “the ones that are on the menu are popular” I felt kind of dismissive but I let it slide. I chose the blackened chicken and ranch bowl but substituted a few things and noticed she was getting irritated and started throwing things in the bowl again didn’t say anything. Then when it was time to pay she just gave me the bowl didn’t tell me the total or asked if I wanted a bag. I wasn’t being difficult at all but I really think for new customers that are just as lost as me wouldn’t want to deal with her but I was being nice and courteous. After this experience i won’t be coming back. Nataly do better no need to have an attitude towards paying customers what a shame!
