I stop by Sweetgreen for takeout about once every two weeks, and it's always a great experience! Tonight, I had the Chicken Pesto Parm, and it was delicious as usual. It doesn’t look as great after being all mixed together but it was great! The location is super convenient, right off 14th St NW and W St NW, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. There’s plenty of seating inside, plus a few tables outside on the sidewalk for when you want to enjoy the weather. They’re open every day from 10:30 AM to 10 PM, so it’s easy to stop by whenever I’m craving a healthy, fresh bowl. Highly recommend Sweetgreen for anyone looking for a tasty, nutritious meal!

I wanted to personally make a post giving Emely her flowers!! She had SUCH a pleasant attitude while serving me! Her bubbly personality and warm smile made enjoying my meal 100x better she literally brightened up my day! Keep up the wonderful work, Emely! You are amazing!! GIVE HER A RAISE best person to look for hands down🙂

My experience with Sweetgreen was not how I envisioned it to be let alone being my first time I wanted to try something new and healthy. There were a lot of options to choose from but didn’t know how the ordering system works. When it was my turn I asked the team member Nataly to give me options of popular salads which she said “the ones that are on the menu are popular” I felt kind of dismissive but I let it slide. I chose the blackened chicken and ranch bowl but substituted a few things and noticed she was getting irritated and started throwing things in the bowl again didn’t say anything. Then when it was time to pay she just gave me the bowl didn’t tell me the total or asked if I wanted a bag. I wasn’t being difficult at all but I really think for new customers that are just as lost as me wouldn’t want to deal with her but I was being nice and courteous. After this experience i won’t be coming back. Nataly do better no need to have an attitude towards paying customers what a shame!

Yesterday me and my husband came for lunch we were welcomed by Emely. As we were ordering the other team member Nataly was wandering around instead of helping my husband. That was not the experience we wanted to encounter but at the end Ms.Emely finished our orders and left happy excellent customer service not to mention we are regulars and get a quick salad when we’re around. It’s sad to see there’s no help in the staff itself she shouldn’t have to carry the load. She shouldn’t be working if she doesn’t want to deal with customers!!! But we left happy with her professionalism great job once again will definitely be back!

I have always found the food here to be very fresh. I just tried the #2 Salmon dish and it is superb. Today it was delivered and is now one of my favorite dishes.
Vegetarian options: All kinds of salads and you can add your own veggie options. Food is very fresh and quinoa and wild rice are available if you do not want white rice.
Dietary restrictions: Lots of Vegetarian options! Love that you can add more veggies on any of your orders.

I love this Sweetgreen so much it’s my go to lunch spot from the food to the staff very polite and attentive. Shoutout to Emy she’s very nice and full of energy not to mention she remembers my buffalo chicken salad bowl everytime I come I love it!! Awesome job keep it up :)

I came to this place in the evening and I had an order and this young man was not working and was talking to the workers when I asked him about the order he told me you can cancel the order I don't know what he means he has work and is not working and he tells me to cancel the order I didn't understand I hope the management pays more attention to the workers who work in this place

I used to love coming here, but the last 4 (!) times I got a salad here, my order has been messed up in one way or another. Moreover, the staff are plain rude. Last time, they forgot to include the chicken in my salad, so that I ended up paying $17 for a bowl of lettuce. When I went back to the counter to point out this error, they acted suspicious and demanded to examine my bowl, then refused to remake it for me.
Today, when I tried to order a warm bowl, I was told they're out of quinoa. I offered to wait for it (wasn't in a rush), but they told me "there's no timer on the quinoa so we don't know when it will be ready". Ok, I asked if they can substitute some sweet potatoes instead, since I can't eat rice (the only other carb option they had). They said ok, and then charged me an extra $2.10 for the potatoes at checkout. I pointed out that they should have notified me that a substitute of potatoes would cost extra, especially since they were out of the quinoa which was supposed to be in the bowl. The girl behind the counter stared at me in response, then said 'ok' and turned to the next customer, ignoring me. If your staff messed up and didn't have the correct ingredients to make the item on the menu, you should not be charging extra for your error. The cherry on top - they didn't even give me the slice of bread I had asked for. $18 to be disrespected for a mediocre, incorrectly made salad bowl? No thanks, there are DOZENS of better options in this neighborhood. I won't be back.

I loved coming here, to eat a proper salad. But it appears they got tired of doing the dishes. So, they did away with their nice, big hard shell bowls for dining in. Disposal paper only. Salads don’t taste so good on cardboard, especially if you go heavy on the dressing, and the portions are smaller. Funny how everything succumbs to the Great Ensh*tification.
I do appreciate them following up, though. I’m going to give them another try….
