The good and service were great. The music was too loud for a peaceful meal.

Service was friendly and burger and chicken came out freshly made but I didn’t enjoy it as much as I had hoped. Fries needed to be more crunchy. Not much bacon on my bacon jalapeño burger and each bite tasted a bit too mushy. $7.99 (pre-tax) for 10-piece nuggets was a good amount of chicken but I didn’t finish it. It was a bit dry and they gave only 1 small ranch which wasn’t nearly enough so I tossed almost half. I didn’t want to order 10 pieces anyway but wasn’t offered any other choice. I didn’t go back to see how much for a drink refill. It was $28 something after tax, pre-tip, so I had also expected more. Worth a try but not for me.

Good is really good. We ordered a head and arrived 30 minutes later after we got notification that the food was ready and we sadly still had to wait 15 minutes for our food when we got there to pickup.
Things like this happen and we were happy that the food was fresh!!

Though my initial experience wasn’t the best, I appreciate the team at Swizzler for correcting their mistake. The food is very good in quality, and thy really do care about guests experiences.

I was so excited to finally try this spot in Navy Yard but was sadly disappointed. We decided to dine in and all got the Spicy Chicken Sandwich with fries. The sandwich was incredibly dry and about as thin as a chicken cutlet (half the thickness of a Chick-fil-A sandwich). The dryness most likely had to do with the fact it was most certainly over cooked and had a burnt consistency. The fries and lemonade were good but would definitely not order the chicken again. Music and staff were great!

I used to frequent this place often but after today I will not eat here again. I immediately vomited after eating the cheeseburger which also smelled weird. The spicy chicken sandwich and spicy nuggets tasted stale, dry and old. It used to be fresh and crunchy. Their food quality has drastically decreased which caused food poisoning.

Way too much salt on the fries
Besides that food was delicious and the service from the girl serving the food was outrageous

Came over here, loved the atmosphere, food came out quick, but when I placed my order with Sasha, I clearly specified dietary restrictions due to allergies. I got my order and I double checked the food like I always do whenever I eat out. Surprisingly, I seen the ingredients that I specified to NOT include in the burger. Either she was paying attention or she was distracted. Although I don’t know how she could’ve been distracted, there was no customer waiting in line behind me. If that burger would’ve been a N it would’ve been a disaster and I would’ve flipped that place upside down. Once I brought this to her attention, the burger was remade, but she definitely did not appear apologetic or realize the possible consequences of her actions. I won’t be coming here again.

The food was great. The seating is limited. We had to wait twice as long because the first order of fries was thrown out for some reason without explanation.

Great burgers and fries! The service is incredible, best in the Navy Yard area. Interior decorations and music set the great vibe of the restaurant, and the staff match the vibe.

I went to the store in southeast D.C. I asked if they could fry my onions real well. After some haggling by everyone about this, someone who claimed they were the lead person finally agreed they would fry my onions on the grill real well.
I never saw my onions fried on the grill and added to my sandwich. When I got home to eat my meal, I come to find out they never put onions on my bacon jalapeño burger.
I WILL NEVER EAT AT SWIZZLER ON HALF STREET SOUTHEAST WASHINGTON, D.C. EVER AGAIN!!!!
I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW AND MIGHT EVEN CALL THE MEDIA TO TELL THEM OF THIS.

I’ve been to this city several times, and I’ve even been in this neighborhood before. But I’ve never actually been in this joint. It was awesome. The food is amazing. The staff were extraordinarily friendly. The place was clean and the atmosphere was fun.

They have the best chicken sandwich, smash burger and fries. We traveled from the pnw and loved the food so much. The service was excellent and the restaurant was easy to find. We went back a couple times on our trip. If your in the DC area this is a must stop. Right by nationals stadium. Quick efficient service
