I've been hearing good things about this place so my friend and I stopped here for a quick bite the other day! We started off with the guacamole and it was one of the most best guacamoles I've ever had. I also got a margarita that was pretty strong but delicious. I ended up ordering the mixto aguachile and an al pastor taco. The aguachile was good but I didn't love the texture of the shrimp in it so I would definitely recommend ordering just the fish aguachile next time. The al pastor taco was very tender and flavorful which I appreciated. The servers were great and I loved the bustling atmosphere, I wouldn't mind coming here again!

Not bad but not the best tacos ever by any means. I think you are definitely paying for the location because I usually get cheaper and better tacos here in Bethesda at Fish Taco and at my local food truck Maria's. Service was very good though!

I have traveled extensively in Mexico, and Al Lado is everything you want a taco joint to be- tight menu, quality ingredients, great drinks. Good tequila list. Huarache highly recommended.

Wow, just wow the food here was great! My man is a taco connoisseur from Las Vegas and he loved it!! We had the Tetelas (pork bean and cheese) and Tacos (Fish, Tinga , Saudero, and Al Pastor)! Not to mention the Margaritas strong and delicioso!! Make it a point to come here for some fabuloso comida y bebidas .

My absolute favorite DC Taco spot!! Best tacos in DC!! I get the fish and birra tacos but make modification my liking! The margaritas are great and strong! Service is always great and very chill/laid back scene!
I was hungry for a taco and then was walking near this place. Stopped in and ordered their best taco and it did not disappoint. Flavors were bright and vibrant and the price was right. If you’re in the mood for a taco, this is the right place to get a good fix.

Amazing food! I have ordered to go many times but I recently ate in and it was very delightful. I really like their tacos but the guacamole is fantastic! It was fairly busy but the service was still very good. The workers are very kind and helpful! Would definitely recommend for food spots in Adam's Morgan!

The service was good. The meat and the corn tortillas were super greasy and too salty. The food made my stomach sick all evening till the next day. I only ate 1/3 of the meal. I bought the beef quesabirria the flavor was there and it is over priced for the size. Over priced tacos 4.5 each, the size was as small as an apple, not impressed. I was picking up dinner. Not impressed this time around as this was my second time after a year and a half trying it before. I give it thumbs down. It’s not worth it. I would give this place 1/2 star for the price and for the portion they charge for. I like to take pictures I missed this one for the records.
