Just Now… I was glad to see that during Winter Storm FERN, Tatte Bakery employees braved the snow and came to serve. Rhoda & Jamel were very welcoming & food & coffee top notch. Keep it up & Thank You. Blessings abound ✝️.

I went here for a breakfast date a couple days ago and was pleasantly surprised. I had never been here before and the bakery sits at intersection of a busy road. The restaurant is cute & quaint. They made great use of the space and the tables are first come first serve. The food was served hot and quickly as well. Great place to sit and read, especially outside (when warm) or a good place to catch up with friends.

i usually go to their foggy bottom location, great service and better atmosphere, However this location at dupont circle cannot be named Tatte. Service is slow, and the whole store smells like Bacon, when i left the store my clothes and skin was smelling like bacon and i’m Kosher, Do not visit this location

A very popular café in Dupont Circle—and for good reason. My coworkers love it, and I do too. They have excellent espresso drinks, delicious pastries, and a welcoming atmosphere.

The food was good and well prepared, though not the best breakfast I’ve ever had. The fresh orange juice was definitely the highlight of the meal.
Unfortunately, the service was very poor. There was no “good morning,” no smile, and no basic courtesy. The person taking orders made me feel rushed, with an attitude that came across as: “Tell me quickly what you want, this is a business.”
I tried to order a simple side of bacon and potatoes for my daughter and was told they don’t sell sides, which made no sense since those items were clearly already being prepared. I ended up ordering my meal with extra bacon, and the “extra” turned out to be just one single strip.
The person taking the order, along with several other staff members, were rude and unwelcoming. This place may be famous, but that doesn’t justify treating customers poorly.
Good food and great orange juice, but the attitude completely ruins the experience.

Food is solid but I only recommend eating at the outdoor tables. This location has a really bad issue with smoke/ kitchen odors due to poor ventilation that you do not encounter at other locations

Beautiful cafe! I ordered a simple brekkie of eggs with prosciutto and toast. Delish! Fantastic Americano. The cafe was beautiful and well appointed with lots of seating and big windows. My fave stop in Georgetown!

I'd like to eat here more, but rustic sandwich is tough AND falls apart. Horrifying drip coffee. Americanos either weak or brutal. Cardboard beans. Locations are gorgeous.
This review is exactly the same for West End, Conn Ave, Bethesda, and Clarendon.
