Nice place with lots of options for tea. Tea is not loose leaf. Tea was ok, not very impressed with the quality of the teas.

Freshest, bounciest, best noodles I've ever had. Soup was just fine. Yuzu lemonade was good too, not too sweet.
Was gifted the Matcha Sweet Green Tea, Rosy Cacao Rooibos, and Steeping Mushroom Chai from this location -- all three were beyond expectations, especially the Steeping Mushroom Chai (easily my new fav) which is perfectly balanced between peppery/floral.
I love that I can add the Matcha Sweet Green Tea directly to some steamed milk and have a perfect matcha latte with zero effort. You can really taste that they're honest about having no artificial sweeteners or oils, which is huge as someone with those sensitivities.
Huge thanks to the manager Lela, who acknowledged a small mix up in the order and had the resolution in the mail the same day. I couldn't have asked for better customer service, and will definitely be a repeat customer.

Such a gem of a spot. Love how cozy the upstairs area is. The croissant I got around lunch was sort of stale, maybe pastries are better in the morning. The ginger limeade was so so good though! A refreshing drink for when it’s hot outside.

Lovely, long time Dupont establishment with yummy, creative Asian food, tea and nibbles. Wonderful alternative to the Starbycks around the corner.

I stumbled across this place. Its in a nice neighborhood. Its super cute and authentic. They have a lot of variety of teas, pastries, and hot food which looked delicious. I decided to get a black Boba tea and the vegan ginger scones. They were baked fresh straight out of the oven and very amazing! I have had an obsession with scones lately. I thoroughly enjoyed them with the jam! My iced Boba was fine, not too sweet at all. I would definitely come back. They played smooth jazz the whole time! This place is such a vibe. It feels very cultural and authentic and very relaxing.

The rice for the thai curry was dry and the curry was a bit too salty for me. The soup part of the udon was not flavorful.

Absolutely delightful spot for tea and lunch. I've never had any drinks or foods here that I didn't thoroughly enjoy. I could complain that the creme brulee is overpriced, but everything else is priced very well for the area, so I won't. The register staff are very kind and patient.
For food, I highly recommend the Korean beef sandwich and okonomiyaki with shrimp. For tea, that's all on your own taste...don't hesitate to ask at the counter if you're unsure of anything.
My only real gripe is with the lack of space, which I realise the staff can't do anything about. There are oftentimes plenty of people who'd finished their meals and drinks a good while ago who linger while other patrons need tables. Recently, a single guy was taking up a 4-person table...but again, that's NOT an issue with Teaism, just the average DC resident's politeness and selflessness to be ready for if it's your first time.
