We stopped in for a quick bite to eat. The tea was very nice with plenty of options. We did not enjoy the food as much and had ordered two different bento boxes. The side dishes in the box had a lot of sauces and were served cold which we didn’t particularly enjoy.

for two people looking for a light lunch, sharing a vegan black bean cake bento box over two cups of hot tea was perfect on a rainy day. the bento contains a bean cake with a togarashi dip, vegetables, and brown rice. while simple, it was well-done and balanced in execution. other options include sandwiches, soups, and desserts that are japanese/pan-asian inspired. the main draw for us was the unique tea menu, but there are enough vegan options to satisfy most needs.

Ordered takeout from Teaism after enjoying a great lunch there recently, and it didn’t disappoint. I went with the broccoli tots, which is always a dependable favorite with that seasoned ranch.

I decided to try something new: the Korean Beef sandwich. Flavorful, a little messy, and the Thai basil added a bright, unexpected touch. I also ordered the butterfly pea yuzu lemonade, which was delicious and stunning. When butterfly pea flower hits citrus, it shifts from blue to a gorgeous purple-pink, and this drink delivered that moment perfectly.

The only downside was the missing napkins and utensils, even though I requested them in the notes. My colleague ordered broccoli tots and a lentil soup she enjoyed (a bit spicy!), but her order arrived without a spoon.

Even with the hiccup, Teaism remains one of my go-to spots when I’m craving Asian-inspired comfort food.

Cozy restaurant with delicious fusion food and amazing teas. The worker replaced a tea that I did not like (of his own accord). I was very surprised and appreciative. Highly recommend.

Had a delicious slice of French toast (single, as portions are huge) and a wonderful Anxi oolong tea (although it felt more like a green tea). The only reason for the 4-star rating is the strong fishy smell, from the open kitchen, that hits you right as you enter. If you’re looking for a proper tea tasting you don’t want such strong smells lingering in the air. I took my tea downstairs where there is a large space, allowing me to get away from the smell.

The food and lovely spot would have been enough but the staff were so exceptionally kind and friendly, I was over the moon with my visit

Bento box was decent, though the salmon was burnt and the flavor was kinda meh. The ginger limeade was top tier, bringing up the rating. I would return for the drinks. Feeling full: meh, I am no longer hungry, I don't feel full.
