We stopped in for a quick bite to eat. The tea was very nice with plenty of options. We did not enjoy the food as much and had ordered two different bento boxes. The side dishes in the box had a lot of sauces and were served cold which we didn’t particularly enjoy.
for two people looking for a light lunch, sharing a vegan black bean cake bento box over two cups of hot tea was perfect on a rainy day. the bento contains a bean cake with a togarashi dip, vegetables, and brown rice. while simple, it was well-done and balanced in execution. other options include sandwiches, soups, and desserts that are japanese/pan-asian inspired. the main draw for us was the unique tea menu, but there are enough vegan options to satisfy most needs.
Ordered takeout from Teaism after enjoying a great lunch there recently, and it didn’t disappoint. I went with the broccoli tots, which is always a dependable favorite with that seasoned ranch.
