I've had the hummus and red lentil soup from Tempo the Casual Eatery. Both were excellent and had a delicious homemade taste. The red lentil soup is definitely comfort food. I will definitely be back!
I have been visiting this restaurant whenever I find myself in DC over the past few years, and I must say that I am consistently impressed by the high quality of the food. The portions are generous and the prices are quite reasonable, especially when compared to other restaurants in the area. The flavors are always spot-on, and the service is top-notch. The red lentil soup and hummus are both incredible. The soup is so full of flavors and just the right texture, I had to have two servings. The owner, Ugor, is a treat to speak with about his restaurant and clearly has a passion for bringing joy to his customers through the food he prepares. So delicious!
