Sat outside which was so nice and then we had a lovely server who helped us pick out tasty stuff!
Perfect spot to watch the end of a World Cup game before walking over to Nats Park. Extremely friendly service, delicious cask-drawn beers and a solid menu. I had the chicken and waffles, wife had the eggplant parm, and daughter had the chicken cobb salad. We started with deviled eggs and poutine tots. A little on the pricey side for a pre-game snack, but all were great.
This place is a MUST if you are going to DC. The service was exceptional. Our waiter Calvin went out of his way to make sure we had the best experience possible. The food is all made from scratch! The tater tots r unlike any other tots Ive EVER had. I've been across the USA, loving seafood & the calamari was tender and melts in my mouth. The food & vibe is on point.
The Arsenal is a restaurant that offers a great dining experience. The ambiance is loved, and the service is attentive without being rushed. The food is fantastic, with standout dishes like the homemade tater tots and the tasty trout. The beer offerings are outstanding and the service was superior. The menu includes a range of delicious items such as the pork chop, steak with chimichurri, melt-in-your-mouth trout, chicken with dry rub, light calamari, deviled eggs, and a generous beet salad. The jumbo pretzel, potato skins and both burgers were outstanding. For dessert, the flourless chocolate cake and cheesecake are so good. The fish and chips and the bluejacket double are also perfectly cooked. Overall, the restaurant maintains a friendly, stylish industrial design, and the excellent service and quality food make it a nice casual place to go after a game, or if you are in the Navy Yard area.
