I went to this establishment today to pick up an door dash order for a customer...upon arrival the door to the establishment was locked...I knocked on the door....the owner (An black lady) came to the door and opened it...I then told her the name of the order....she stated she didn't know an order with that name...I then showed her my phone with the order information...she then said "oh"....she then went on to tell me that she didn't like how I knocked on the door, and I asked how did I knock? She then started yelling and screaming telling me to get out and refused to give me the order...I then called the customer to explain what was happening....while doing so the owner was yelling and screaming at me, while I was on the phone with the customer....the customer apologized and asked me to leave and said I didn't deserve to be treated like that....I then told the owner that she lost a customer...she yelled and said "that's why your doing door dash!"....she also stated that she was not African American even tho she appeared to be??♀️....Very unprofessional

This little shop is mighty, and its owner Catherine is so lovely! GBBO fans will be delighted that, yes, THIS is the place where you can find a cherry bakewell (#IYKYK). Be sure to ask if there are any savory offerings in the back - I recently had a terrific mushroom and spinach tart that convinces me that I should just buy whatever savory offering is on deck.I can't wait till afternoon tea service is available. I'll definitely be there.
We needed a cake for a special dinner and dropped by to see what this place had to offer. Our timing was impeccable. A wonderfully moist cake was ready to go. Vanilla cake with vanilla bean butter cream icing, adorned with white chocolate dipped strawberries and Christmas sprinkles!We got lucky... check this place out for bakery treats but maybe order in advance.

I read the reviews and I was looking forward to testing the pecan torte the pineapple upside cake and a cupcake(surprise) .. so I was very sad to taste the very dry pineapple cake ..and it had a weird flavor..almost like a dry wine ..the torte was very disappointing..it was grindy and not good.. the cupcake was very greasy.. it was dense like a cornmeal muffin with old frosting.. I wasted my money .. I had to throw them all away.. not enjoyable at all.

I needed scones for my book club. Tasted quite a few. Finally ordered from the Bakers' Lounge. They were superb. Ready on time. Excellent service. Complimentary lemon curd and clotted cream. A real treat. I heartily recommend this bakery!

My guest enjoyed the Jack Daniels whiskey cake. Just a hiccup with the order I needed the list of ingredients for the restaurant I was scheduled to go to and baker refused to provide.. I thought that was weird because you should happily provide. Instead sent me a screen shot to prove I didn't ask for it when I ordered. That time wasted on proving that point could have been to get me the ingredients.
