We went to dinner with our friends from out of town. Our waiter was informative and friendly, BUT he forgot to bring THREE items from the savory menu. We did not notice and ordered dessert. It was only when the bill arrived that we realized that we were missing these items, at which point they were taken off the bill. It is odd that 3 items were omitted from our meal.

The food itself was lovely and interesting, though the portions are small.

The restaurant itself is beautiful. Overall, it was a nice experience, but I'm not sure that I would recommend it or return.

Over the top up-charge throughout its wine list, snooty but unpolished service staff, guests elbowing in from the Astoria lobby, strained opulence. The Bazaar can be summed up with one word: Trumpy.

My experience with my family for my son's birthday here at The Bazaar was let's just say, memorable. To start off, the atmosphere was great. Great ambiance and it being inside the Waldorf Astoria made enhanced the whole experience. Food was unique. My son absolutely loved the food, especially the cotton candy foie gras. The flavors were unique and burst in you mouth in everything we ate. But the food was certainly not for my 9-yr old daughter who thought that the Tortilla de Patatas “New Way”, would not be "melted" egg in a cup. For families with younger than 12, please double check the menu.
The service was not a great experience. Upon entering, they asked for any allergies and wished my son 'Happy Birthday'. But as our experience went on, it started going downhill. For starters and beverages, three dishes ordered never came (Crab Louie Cone, Estrella Damm, and some chamomile tea,) and that was quite surprising . The worst part was for desert they gave us a carrot cake for my son's birthday. And guess what was on the carrot cake, walnuts clear as day. We had told the staff twice that my son is allergic to pecans and walnuts, it even showed up on the bill. He couldn't eat the desert that was served. We had ordered two other deserts but one just never came. To make matters worse, they billed us for the carrot cake when A, we never asked for it, and B, my son couldn't even eat it.

Kid-friendliness: No, based on menu options available.

Visited this restaurant for my birthday, Feb 25. Really nice decor, cool place to chill. The atmosphere is the highlight. I am allergic to clams, crabs, octupii, scallops, oysters, all the good stuff. I can eat shrimp. There was no shrimp dish on the menu. I wanted to try the oxtail croquetas and was told it is fried and will be cross contaminated with the fried foods of which i am allergic. I asked about the bao con lechon. This was fried as well and was fried in the same oil as other allergens. This was very disappointing. A high end restaurant or any restaurant using the same fry oil to fry seafood and non-seafood dishes is concerning.
I ordered 1 oz of the jamón ibérico de bellota. 6 thin slices came out. It was not the high quality ibérico ham. And definitely not worth the $45. I spent Thanksgiving in 2023 and 2024 in Spain. I spent many days visiting the various merchants tasting different cured level of jamón. I have tried and bought the cinco jota brand. I highly doubt what i ordered was cinco jota and if it was it was the low end slection. Really good, high quality jamón ibérico is melt in ur mouth smooth, mellow, sweet and nutty. Mild saltiness. What i got was very disappointing bc I love jamón ibérico.
The best thing I ate at the Bazaar was the steak and piquillo pepper and the complimentary deconstructed carrot cake. The carrot sorbet was great. All in all very disappointing for the price point.

Lets start with the food. It was very mixed. The octopus was great the salmon very good. But most other dishes were not. The crab salad was expensive and nit very flavorful and lacked crab. The new potato torta was a molecular gastronomy failure. Flavor and texture were awful. Steak tartare was ok. The kitchen is very rigid and nit accommodating at all. My wife has a cilantro allergy and they said they can not remove cilantro just dont order certain items. Smoke trout roe came on top of crab salad and when we asked to leave off it was i am not sure we can do that. Service was poor. We had to wave arms to get attention as we were largely ignored for most of meal. I would not return to an expensive restaurant with poor service and disappointing food.

The food was interesting and other members of my party were more impressed, but I thought a lot of the options were *different* but not necessarily *good*. Great spot if you want to try a different twist on dishes, but there are plenty of better options if you want a standout meal without the frills. The environment is top notch, and the music isn't too loud to have a conversation.

Great location and beautiful atmosphere. Nice service. Considering the price, the food is not that extraordinary.

Excellent service and beautiful ambience! Worth going to for the setting. A live harpist was lovely to listen to while dining. Going up to the clock tower was free and had a great view of the city! Food was okay, the best thing we ate was the key lime beach.

Unfortunately, I have to give this place a 1 star. I wish I could give it a zero. My wife and I paid for a nanny and went out after a long time. We were squeezed in on a table with two other couples on our both sides. When people pay for upscale donning experience, they expect to be informed if the seating space is unusually small. This place failed really bad. It’s really unethical to charge people a high rate and asked them to be squeezed next to each other.

I'm a fan of his other restaurants. This food was horrible. She crab soup was so salty I couldn't eat it. The oxtail croquettes was deplorable. The Buffalo "wings" was thigh meat on a stick and still nasty. The best thing was the ceasar salad. Warning it has about 10 anchovies in it. (It's a side salad portion). I like anchovies. My fiance not so much. The service was 5 stars but the food was 0. Do not recommend. Most people surrounding me had charcuterie or cheese plates. Should've took the hint.

The food was sufficient but nothing special, we took the tasting menu and everything was served family style, truly incomprehensible for a restaurant of this level.
Furthermore, they claimed to serve the main course (pork and salmon) at the same time (inconceivable)
Furthermore, the mashed potatoes seasoned with a nice black hair, shameful
The service was rushed, not precise, unprofessional.
I recommend a trip to Europe to learn what fine dining is.

Great overall food experience. Forgot this was in the Waldorf Astoria and only one set of doors open and it’s not the side facing the metro!

The entire ultimate experience was something you should try especially for special occasions and if you want to expand your palette.

The dinner was similar the restaurant e at Jaleo in Las Vegas, where we had a chefs table experience with maybe 7 people.

If you do the ultimate experience with the wine pairing expect to spend around $400 a person.

Only one issue occurred they over cooked one of the pork steaks for our table. Everything else was pretty close to flawless and service was impeccable. The wins paired well with each course.

The service was top-notch as was the ambiance. But the food was shockingly bad. Jose Andreas restaurants are delicious. This was not that. Not sure the concept here but it was very underwhelming.

Me and my family came to dine here, and it wasn’t great. First of all, the lady who was about to take our order took my husband’s and my daughter’s orders, but no one else’s. We had another server come over either way. The next server was much nicer and somewhat actually cared about our needs. As for the food, it was bitter and bland. My daughter ordered a taco, that turned out to be seaweed, ham, caviar, and a gold leaf all stacked together. It was tiny and expensive. It costs $24 just for a little “taco” originated by the place. All I can say for the atmosphere is that it was beautiful and well built. I wish they had the same taste that they had in the structure in the food, too.

As it was located in the hotel I was staying, I couldn’t wait to visit.
I went in without a reservation and they were able to get me right in.
I enjoyed a couple of their items, my favorite was the Cotten candy foie gras and their whiskey sour on the rocks with the egg foam. A must try.

Service was great.
