Bad food, bad beer, mediocre service. Does this place do anything well?
A very casual sports bar. The draft beers options were great and they serve good bar food. A fantastic local place to have bar food and watch sports.

The best burgers I've ever had in DC thus far. Good mimosas and tap beer. I just wished they offered delivery.

The burgers dont come with fries, but if you get the spicy burger, just spend the money on another beer.

Great service and food! My favorite bar in DC for sure and good service. Highly recommended
No food here. Drab and smelly dive bar. The bartender had an attitude as if he was doing you a favor by merely being there. I tried to liven up the place with some humor but the bartender seemed annoyed. I really don't understand the appeal of this watering hole. I guess it's because it is a watering hole. I arrived to this location around 4:30 and it was populated with some locals in their 60s or 70s with a few younger H St. dwellers. Given it's closeness to Union Station I can see why this place remains in business along with it's reasonable drink prices. You can't beat $5 beer prices in DC these days. If you want a dive bar, a bar with no frills, sports on TV and smelly 80s atmosphere feel, than this is your place. It's open late, beer is cheap, in a great location. Like an old tennis shoe it does not look good and it smells, but at least it's always there.

Looking for that small town homey sports bar atmosphere? This is the right place. The Big Board has a friendly staff and community. Feels like everyone here is a local and knows each other. We came in for just for a small snack and some baseball. I got some Mozz sticks and a larger order of fries. They were both good bar food. Overall a chill time at The Big Board
