The best local coffee shop in all of human history.

I had a cortado and a scone. My coffee was cold after waiting about 10 minutes for it. I very politely asked them to remake it, then the barista made me a flat white instead, insisting to me that my coffee selection was why it was cold. Hard pass.

Really nice open outdoor sitting area. The drip coffee is decent. Very busy on weekends.
Their cappuccino was perfectly crafted smooth texture and a deep, delicious taste. The place feels warm and relaxing, perfect for a quiet coffee break

The Coffee Bar is such a cozy and welcoming spot! The atmosphere is relaxed but lively, perfect for catching up with friends or getting a little work done. The coffee is consistently amazing — rich flavor, smooth texture, and always made just right. The baristas are friendly, quick, and really know their stuff. I tried their cold brew and it was perfectly refreshing. Definitely one of my favorite coffee spots in DC!

My first impression of the coffee bar aesthetically was pleasing. I had a great vibe and the employees did give good customer service with explain explaining to me what their menu consisted of. But that was about it. I ordered an iced vanilla latte and a cheddar biscuit. The latte was disappointing It tasted like milk with a hint of caffeine. The cheddar biscuit was decent, it honestly tasted like the dry Popeyes biscuit with herbs baked into it.
Ice vanilla vanilla latte 4/10
Cheddar biscuit 5/10

The coffee here is truly exceptional! I had a zucchini bread though and it was skippable

Favorite coffee shop in DC! Cute patio, great cold brew, mexicola, and lattes. Be warned they run out of pastries toward the early side and the banana bread is SUPER dense. Be on the lookout for when they have donuts.

A nice little neighborhood spot to meet a friend if the weather is nice out, but ultimately the interior feels *very* cramped when it's busy, they don't serve food of any kind, there's no wifi, and the seating consists of metal stools with no back support, and these factors altogether mean it's not a place you feel you can comfortably lounge for longer than an hour or so. The coffee was acceptable quality, but overall better experiences to be had elsewhere.

Cool little neighborhood hangout. I had a double shot espresso of the house blend and it was delicious, rich and velvety with a slight orange peel finish.

So I dropped by The Coffee Bar kinda on accident while killing time before a meeting, but wow — this place lowkey saved my morning. I got a cortado (barista’s rec) and it was hands down one of the smoothest I’ve had in a while. Not too hot, not bitter, just balanced and legit comforting. Grabbed a morning bun too — buttery, cinnamon-y, all the good stuff. It’s a small space but doesn’t feel cramped, and everyone working there had this calm, focused vibe like they actually liked their job. Music was chill, not overpowering. Restroom was clean (finally a soap dispenser that works lol). Genuinely felt good just existing in that space.
