The scallop basket was delicious. The scallops were juicy and tender and the fries were crisp! The coleslaw was very good too and added a nice lightness to a heavy meal. The swordfish parm sandwich was also very good! The portions are a good size!

Sooooo bland….. please save your money. The cod fish and chips was so blanddd … not even seasoning would help … black ppl this one not for us cod was also very soft almost like mushyyy … texture felt off. Wish I would’ve listened to the reviews first

Your hours say until 8 and yet all the fish is put away by 6 if you show up any later they will not get it for you. You need to adjust your hours as this is misleading.

This place is such a hit when I want a delicious fish sandwich. My only critique is that I wish the buns were more durable. When getting them delivered, they tend to her a little soggy. The salmon burger is the best! And the fries are a hit.

This week was my first time eating here after just thinking they sold fish. I had the beer battered dog fish and the taste was out of this world. I came back two days later to get it again. There are so many things I wanna try. I told the owner I’ll be back next week. 🔥🔥🔥

After walking around Union Market for a while trying to decide what to eat, I went with my gut and got the salmon cheesesteak with sweet potato fries. And man am I glad I did. I’ve had a good amount of cheesesteaks before but this was the first seafood one I think. Good fishiness, good cheesiness, good onioniness and bell pepperiness. Sweet potato fries were really good, but after looking at some of the pictures of the regular fries, I might have to go regular next time I’m here. The Union Market atmosphere more broadly is really nice. Perfect place to come with friends and family to enjoy good food and have a nice time.

For the freshest seafood for carry out or home cooking, this is DC’s top destination. The Fishwife’s Poke is the best this side of Honolulu. All seafood in the case is sushi grade. So cooking is optional. Yum!

I got the fried shrimp poboy with regular fries and it was outstanding! The shrimp were perfectly fried without too much breading and were very fresh. The fries were cut a little different than what I’m used to but they were well seasoned and crispy. Really impressed. Thank you for a great meal! Also, their alcoholic beverages are not marked up crazy so a glass of wine is an affordable treat to add to your meal if you’re so inclined.
