Always hits the spot. To make the rolls, they use fresh fish from District Fishwife (who also runs Son of a Fish). Scott Han, a partner in Kizuna Sushi & Ramen in Vienna, also has a hand in Son of a Fish.Not incredibly cheap, but nice to have a fresh healthy option at Union Market.
Son of a Fish prepares fresh sushi daily. I enjoyed the Spicy Crunchy Salmon and Philly rolls. The customer service was really good and I think the food is reasonably priced for the quality. Overall, I enjoyed my time at Union market because there were lots of delicious food options and walk up bars.

This place is my go to lunch/sushi place. Such fresh fish and amazing flavors. I always go right when they open to get the freshest pick. I will gatekeep this place and what my order is at all costs but had to leave a review. The staff are so kind and will help you with anything you need. If they don’t have something I always ask if they have it and they make it to order for me!
