This is an elevated middle eastern bar. Overall the food is delicious. They have snacks and spreads like lamba awarma, muhammara. We got both of these. The awarma is really filling and the muhammara is incredibly unique and has a good kick to it. My favorite though was the Arabic Spiced chicken wings. Could not recommend that enough.

The place also serves the best NA cocktails i've had in DC. The Mint Lemonade is a nice cocktail/freeze mix. They do make their alcoholic drinks fairly strong, watch out.

I love Green Zone, but they need new occupancy limits. It gets way too crowded for the type of nice decorations, cocktails and food they have. Everyone should be seated or have wall space, otherwise it doesn't work to have crowded floor. No room to even dance half the time, and people don't dance because they're too busy holding their (justifiable) $20 cocktails. Poor bartender was so stressed asking people to step away from decor and DJ booth on a very crowded night. I would come more often if it wasn't so packed all the time. It is so nice to have this kind of middle eastern space. And LOVE the record selection on the wall. Owner has great taste 😊

Not kidding. If you are anywhere in DC you must come here. The drinks and food are amazing. Truly unique takes on all of the classics. Staff was friendly, vibe was chill. I will 100% be back. Recommend everything, but their take on an old fashioned was amazing, and the wings were excellent. But seriously you can't go wrong with anything here.

Great place to hangout after work. Their cocktail menu is so fun and you can't go wrong with any of the choices. We got their spiced wings and fries. For such a simple dish, it's just boosting with flavor. Would definitely come back.

Great cocktails, awesome vibes and decent food. The music isn’t loud so you can enjoy a nice evening with the gang. Super friendly staff

The best bar in AdMo. An excellent place to get expertly crafted cocktails with ingredients and flavors you won't find at other bars.

10/10 - food and service are incredible. We stopped in right as they opened at 2 on a Sunday and sat at the bar. Food came out so quickly and was delicious.
Highly recommend the eggs with awarma & the Saj mana’ish w zatar + cheese! And get the labnah w zatar and sub for the pita chips!

Love this place! Definitely recommend coming here if you want to go out as it’s a pretty well known spot and can get super crowded. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for a casual spot to grab a drink (at least not the weekends). Drinks and food are always great. Great neighborhood spot

Went for happy hour and was pleased to find that both the happy hour menu and the full menu were both a zero miss menu.

The staff were also incredibly friendly and were glad to engage one in deciding what to try next!

Authentic Iraqi bites, lots of raki to choose from, great drinks, service, & atmosphere overall.

Unique cocktails with a Mediterranean twist. I *loved* the Lebanese no. 1 (citrus, apricot), with a delicious smooth vanilla finish from the cognac.

Green Zone gets pretty crowded on the weekend, but it was a breeze to find a spot during a weekday. Patio seating can be reserved, indoor seating is first come first served.
