Having never before eaten Brazilian food, I recently went to Brazil and ate delicious food there. My wife had also never had Brazilian food and was unable to accompany me to Brazil. So, to attempt to bridge the gap, I took her to The Grill from Ipanema. The food was delicious! (I was very similar to what I ate in Brazil, in the best way!) Our server was excellent: friendly and attentive without being overbearing. We will definitely be returning!

Amazing food every time. My spouse is Brazilian and was missing the food—he loved the restaurant. Simon was our waiter and great. We cannot wait to go back.

We had a wonderful outside patio dinner there last night during the evening of Porchfest. Such a welcoming and friendly staff, great food, great caipirinha- agree with previous comments about this. I highly recommend the restaurant!

the food was delicious, unique, good staff, found parking a couple of blocks away. Would recommend this for anyone looking for a unique experience. One thing to note, sometimes the staff clears the table when there is still food on the plate and they neglect to ask you if you are done-which they should do.

This was a gem. The food was excellent and the service was very good. A very well run family restaurant that provides a Brazilian dining experience that isn't a carbon copy of Fogo de Chao. Unique, delicious, tasteful, large portions and an excellent value and is also easy on your wallet. We will visit again on our next visit to Washington D.C.

Grill from Ipanema is one of my go to restaurants in Adams Morgan. Love the people and food; however on Valentine's Day, our order was not understood by the server. The noise level and crowd was most likely responsible for this error in our main course. We got what we got and were told it was impossible to correct. So I paid $200 including tip for a meal I didn't order. Waitress was unapologetic and dismissive. She got her tip so what did she care? I will be back, but not when they are too busy to give the diners what they ordered.
