I had the experience with Brunch, where I was able to try a little of everything.Cassava is delicious and makes you miss Brazil; the Beans disappointed me a little; the banana dessert is delicious and the rest of the dish is normal. The service is good and I was served in Portuguese.

This was great. I took a Brazilian friend who said the menu was true to Brazil and raved about how great the food was. The service was great as was the ambiance and music. Now this will be a reliable gift to restaurant and worth the price of a night out.

My experience at The Grill From Ipanema was truly memorable. I found this restaurant through Google Maps while participating in an exchange program in the United States. As a Brazilian, being able to taste authentic bean broth outside the country was a magical and symbolic experience for me.Upon entering the restaurant, it was comforting to be able to chat in my native language after being away from Brazil for a while. It was great to exchange a few words with the attendants and feel a bit of the Brazilian atmosphere even though we were far from home. The food was simply delicious, although the price was a little higher, as expected.I opted for a succulent picanha, served with rice, beans, salad and farofa - a classic Brazilian meal that made me feel even more connected to my culture. This experience was a highlight of my exchange and I even introduced the restaurant to some friends, sharing memorable moments together.

Good food but small portions and expensive. I paid 13,00 for 5 thin slices of sausage. Very disappointing. The feijoada was good but farofa from a bag? Farofa disappointing. 160.00 was the bill for 2 adults an 1 child no drinks. Honestly not worth it.

Delicious food. Try to sit in the main dining room versus the expansion/annex room. Not as good of a vibe. Our server was extremely slow and seemed disinterested in serving us. And, he added in an 18% gratuity and it was just the two of us. Never had that happen anywhere before.

Very authentic feijoada and caipirinha. The restaurant does have fusion options (American interpretations of Brazilian cuisine). But it also has Brazilian dishes. Definitely recommend! Attentive staff.

Stopped here for drinks and dinner. Started with a salad and absolutely delicious caprihinas then shared a skewer dish with multiple meats and sides. The portions are large, the service is friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant and cozy. A perfect ending to a perfect D.C. Sunday.
