We had to check out super early after staying 5 nights to catch an early flight to NC. So didn’t manage to say goodbye to all the lovely wait staff at The Lafayette! We shall miss the delicious breakfast and World Cup chats with the multi-National servers Morrocan, Spanish, African, etc. we shall miss our cosy room with a powerful view, we shall miss Off-the-Record where we celebrated Argentina’s semi-final win with some lovely folks from the Africa Leaders Summit!! Great hotel, a stones throw to the White House. Fantastic bar! Luxurious rooms and extremely comfortable beds. Enjoyed everything about it.
