This is a high end steakhouse chain and while the food was good the quality of the steak was less than Ruth's Chris, Bob's or the Capitol Grille. Nonetheless it is a wonderful meal, albeit pricey. When I worked in DC years ago this was a go to restaurant. It is good, don't get me wrong, but it was exceptional in the old days. We went on a Tuesday night and it was noticeably quieter than I remember. Perhaps that's because they were working on a tax bill on the Hill and many lobbyists, Members and staff were otherwise preoccupied. In any event, you cannot go wrong with the Palm.

Our server, Sean, was lovely and very attentive, answering our questions and chatting with other patrons. He made for a pleasant dining experience.

The consistency of the food is always perfect. Fabulous service. Great ambiance. We look forward to going back to the Palm

The Palm continues to provide a consistently high quality dining experience. For a top notch steakhouse, the Palm offers other notable dishes such as the Parpadelle that I ordered. My waiter was excellent as he always is.

Always great food and service. Noise was a little loud due to a poorly mannered family and a loud mouth father.

Our waiter seemed rushed, not personable. So incredibly noisy we couldn't converse. Bland veal chop with no seasoning. Osso bucco was good. The environment because of the noise level was just very uncomfortable and not enjoyable for what I thought was an upscale restaurant.

Always outstanding! The service, the food, and the overall experience are never disappointing.

Love the old school atmosphere with the artwork and ambiance. Our server was extremely friendly and helpful, even telling us about the status of the area we were leaving for our safety! Thanks for a great birthday celebration!

My server was very friendly and professional. We had several laughs. I appreciate the acknowledgement of my birthday, and the birthday wishes.

Coming back to DC after moving South, one has to visit the Palm as a reminder of the city's buzz. However, while the name and structure brings familiarity, it lost its luster. I am glad Landry's took over to salvage the restaurant from its possible demise but nothing felt familiar . I understand the challenges of the new owners in competing with its past. The attentive service staff is still there but the quality of the food somewhat has somewhat bated. My good wishes to the new owners and the hope of restoring the Palm's vibe.

They had no ac and it was ridiculously hot and uncomfortable which did not make a nice dining environment. When we commented, the manager was rude and dismissive.

Wonderful meal as always. Room was unusually warm but the staff did their best to accommodate. We had the lasagna and Wagyu steak. Kudos to the staff!

Haven't been in awhile, chicken parmigiana and the bolognese, split it with a bottle of Chianti. A classic venue, worth a stop in a time or two over the year for dinner...Prefer fall and winter stop ins though.

An awful dinner. The steaks were overcooked and not tasty. The bernaise sauce was not completely mixed together. Asparagus were uninspired. The restaurant is near the empty so no excuse for an overworked cook. And all so expensive! Not worth it at any price.

The Palm offers a top notch menu paired with superb service and attention. From the chilled shrimp cocktail to the ribeye the product was fresh and cooked to temperature. The cheesecake was rich and had just a perfect balanced texture. Sean was attentive and provided great recommendations. He clearly enjoyed the cuisine and was proud of the history of The Palm and its mark in Washington. Thank you for a pleasant, comfortable yet elevated dining experience.
