Food was excellent. Service was good not great. Waiter was very good but his assistants (water bread ect were just ok) got a booth w a loud crowd next to us but it happens. Overall another great meal at Palm
Quality of filet mignon was poor. I can get a better filet at the grocery store. Have been at this location in the past and loved it. But, at this visit, I noticed the quality of the food has declined considerably. We ordered 4 sides. Of the 4 sides, only 1 was good. Server was good. But, this restaurant is not one I'll go back to.

Went for a birthday dinner and the result was average at best. They charge 5 star prices for a meal that does not meet the same expectation. At $17 a cocktail they should be using big ice cubes, but instead the cocktails came with chipped ice cubes, already watered down. The cocktails weren't even properly mixed so the different liquors sat in layers until stirred. The tops of the side dishes were warm and the bottom of the same dishes were cold. It seemed like anything outside of a steak is precooked and shoveled onto plates as ordered and stuck under a heating lamp until the tops are hot, leaving the rest to sit chilly. Of note, the best part of the meal was the cheesecake. The service was perfectly acceptable, nothing to write home about but nothing to critique.

Excellent cozy steakhouse. Lobster bisque is great!!! Good martinis and great atmosphere. If you like steakhouse, you should try this place if you are in DC.

Service was insanely slow. We sat there for over 20 mins without menus - we sat there for 30+ mins before we even had an opportunity to order an app. Steaks required steak sauce....
Excellent experience matched our experience at The Palm in NYC, which was our first time. The food gave us plenty at the table and plenty leftover to take home. The parking was also easy in DC.
The service was terrible. We waited 20 minutes to order, 30 min to receive our food, another 20 minutes to get our bill and another 15 before the bill was processed. In addition, the food was terrible, the steak was order medium well, it came back burnt. The mashed potatoes tasted like they were instant mashed potatoes. The chicken was burnt, cover up with very bitter tomatoe sauce, with very little linguine noodles. Not on the level of a high end steak house at all. Terrible overall experience.
This was my fiancé and I very first Valentine's Day dinner date. The staff greeted and seated us immediately. The noise level was intense due to the restaurant being at maximum capacity. However, the food and the atmosphere was awesome. We will definitely be returning.
Service was great ,appetizers were amazing , my wife's meal was great but my rich was undercooked it was cold in the middle.. will give the place another try since I know it was Valentine's Day .
