Food was good, but not spectacular. We were sat an entire hour before our appetizers arrived. Server was not attentive. Overall disappointing considering compared to all our other dining experiences in DC.

Lovely spot in the Dupont Circle Hotel. I don't usually choose hotel restaurants but this was a perfect spot for a quiet lunch with a friend. Our server, Miguel, was fantastic - very helpful, thoughtful, and just the right amount of time spent at our table. The GM (don't have his name) was also very nice - funny and attentive from start to finish. The food was very good, I had a salad with salmon on it, and my friend had the crispy salmon lunch. Highly recommend if you need a classy, quiet spot in downtown DC.

Excellent brunch, fabulous service. Elegant but not stuffy atmosphere, light and airy with big widows and nice outdoor seating area facing a closed street, now pedestrian area. Fun afternoon with old friends

Beautiful restaurant with very good service and great food. The prices for the entrees were much more reasonable than other DC restaurants with similar quality food. Highly recommend.

We had the most wonderful experience at the Pembroke! This was our first trip to DC in a while and we were celebrating our anniversary. The wine expert Michael was exceptional and entertaining. Our waitress Sarah was kind and made sure that we were enjoying our evening the entire night. We will definitely be back. This was such a wonderful experience.

The staff is usually quite pleasant and efficient and this visit was no different. We thoroughly enjoy our meals at this restaurant and have found it to about the best breakfast restaurant in the Georgetown-Dupont Circle area.

Our experience couldn't have been any better- from the warm greeting as we entered, the superlative service we received (thank you Darko R), the most delicious and thoughtfully prepared meals- and the relaxing atmosphere- all made for a truly wonderful evening. It was our first time at The Pembroke- and as we rode home, there was no doubt that we had found the date-night spot we've been looking. Thank you Pembroke staff for a really memorable evening.

The five of us (four who had not dined there before) had a wonderful time. The service (Drako?) was great. The food was outstanding! We ordered a meat dish, a chicken dish, the salmon; everything was great! I would highly recommend Pembroke. If you go, make sure to grab drinks in the hotel's Doyle bar before or as a night cap. It will make for a perfect evening!

While this restaurant is attached to a lovely hotel, the experience was rather average for our Saturday afternoon brunch. We had to wait a long time for the weight staff to address us initially, definitely they were not attentive to the food that we ordered I had to ask several times for them to come back with plates and coffee. The food was not creative or anything to write home about... Just the basics. I just don't see why this place has any type of reputation.

They did not honor my breakfast reservation on Easter morning, and were horribly rude.

Upon walking in, the atmosphere was luxurious yet cozy. My friend and I were greeted with smiles as well as a wonderful fragrance. We sat at the bar and had excellent service by the staff who waited at the bar. The food was delicious and comforting and we left completely satisfied with the price and experience.
