*Excellent Restaurant!*

I recently dined at Uncaged Mimosas, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who made sure every detail was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious, with a menu that offers a wide variety of options, each dish prepared to perfection. The drinks were equally impressive, with a well-curated selection of cocktails, wines, and other beverages.

What really stood out to me was the warm and friendly atmosphere created by the staff. They were not only professional but also genuinely welcoming, making the entire dining experience even more enjoyable.

Whether you're looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion or just want a great meal in a fantastic setting, I highly recommend Uncaged Mimosas. This is a restaurant that truly knows how to take care of its guests!

Very disappointing place, service is just....pathetic for the price. And this is always the case with this chef. He just keeps opening restaurant after restaurant with food that looks good for Instagram, then service is abysmal and he eventually closes. And he's always deleting critical comments on IG too.

This place is over rated. Me and my husband and kids went there for Father's day 2024. The food is highly over priced and the 20% added on your check was not a tip but a service fee. SMDH. We spent over $200; didn't like the loud music ? because you couldn't have a conversation without yelling. However, the owner was very nice but the waiter was a bit rude. You have to order the food and pay before they bring it which was a first for me. I guess that's what happens when you try to support small black owned business. We do not plan on going back there. So ?

I ordered so many things and all the food was very tasty. My favorite was the pulled jerk chicken, grits, and broccoli. It was all wonderful. I would definitely return here to eat. Yummy!

Made reservations for a 12pm Sunday brunch .

Tiny Tiny space, at least downstairs where we were seated. I sat down and the place was depressing lol. Slow jams were playing and it was very warm inside. I was ready to go to sleep.

This is NOT a turn up , nor litty spot. It was nearly quiet as hell You order everything thru a QR code and waitress bring food to table. All dishes come in tog containers. Which honestly makes sense. It is a lot of food and if you take it to go, it's all ready for such

I had the grilled chicken Alfredo with added shrimp. It was wayyyyyyy to salty. I barely at it. My friend liked his friend but he barely ate it also. Mix and pour you own mimosas

Do not come for a girls / friends brunch outting

The food was decent, but don't go based on their website because you aren't getting anything close to that! Your food is not served on plates, everything is in to go packaging. You get no actual service, you have to scan a qr code and order and pay up front, they were out of a lot of items, and they don't have a drink menu like their website, only mimosas and the main liquors that you can get juice, they charge extra if you want it neat. It was small and cramped, did not go upstairs. Had to ask for water several times. The Brussel sprouts were good, everything else was nothing to write home about. On the table they tell you they charge a 20% service fee in lieu of tipping, but when you go to pay, it says the service fee doesn't include the tip. This should just be a to go establishment because it was not worth the experience, at all. 20% is way too high for the service we got. Not many brunch options, this is more lunch food.

Highly do not recommend!

I was very excited to try this spot because I’ve never been, and I saw it had a 4.1 star review. Unfortunately, my experience was underwhelming to say the least. I arrived roughly 5 minutes prior to my reservation time, and had to wait 15-minutes to be seated. There’s no lobby, so you’re just either standing outside in the heat or right in the way of the front door.

This was my first time here, so I was unaware, nor was it explained to me that I had to place my order myself. A lot of restaurants have gotten away from the paper or hand menus, so when I seen the QR code on top of the table, I assumed that was to just view the menu. Nope! You view the menu, and place your order. You use the scanned QR code to order your food and alcoholic beverages. I ordered a strawberry mimosa (which tasted just like juice no champagne), and I ordered the lamb, with brussel sprouts and eggs. Average wait time I expected was 30-35 minutes since it’s lamb. They do not have a lot of tables in the building either.

On the website, it states that 20% service fee has been added to all checks to assist with paying their staff. I have been a Manager, server and trainer in the restaurant industry for years, so I don’t mind that. But once I actually placed my order, in parentheses it says that this is not a tip. I’ve gone to several restaurants where now they have added between 10 to 20% service fees. But that is usually the tip. So not only am I paying for the food, I’m being charged 20% service fee, and you want me to tip on top of that. Mind you, this is at the VERY BEGINNING of your service. You have no idea how you are about to be treated by the wait staff.

So the expectation is for you to place your own order, hopefully a server will come by to check on you, but you’ve already tipped them the 20% service fee plus whatever other tip that you decide to provide. Does not guarantee good service. As we all know, the standard is to tip AFTER you have received the service, based on your experience. This is forcing you to tip before even knowing whether or not the service is sufficient.

It took 15 minutes for me to be sat, it took 20 minutes for a server to acknowledge me, it took 35 minutes to get one mimosa and it took 55 minutes for my food to come. Then when it did come, everything was served in plastic to go containers. You’re paying over $80 for food, drinks, fees, gratuity and you’re not even being served on appropriate dish-ware or glassware. I should’ve done more research prior to coming, because that’s unacceptable and tacky.

You’re basically servicing yourself. I literally had to ask for napkins and water 3 times! There’s 4 bartenders and wait staff around and 5 sat tables. It really doesn’t take that much for water. The food was 8 out of 10, atmosphere was a 2 out of 10, service was a 1 out of 10 and cost was a 3 out of 10. I think the mimosa and my lamb was moderately priced compared to other restaurants in the area, it took entirely too long to receive both, and for them to come in plastic containers from a restaurants that isn’t considered a carry out was very lack luster and unexpected. The fact that the hostess nor the server explained the ordering expectations when I sat down, lead me to have to figure it out myself - what am I tipping for? For you to walk my food and drink over? That’s what runners are for, which is why I’m confused why there’s an added tip section.

I see why the 20% fee is charged upfront. You’re aware that they’re doing the bare minimum and want to ensure you’re able to pay your staff, because if you left it up to your patrons to pay after the fact, they would not make enough to make ends meet.
