A great gay bar in the heart of the U Street corridor, multiple levels, huge outdoor patio and an amazing upstairs dance club. Regular drag shows are always a hit, and the staff are great! Check it out if you've never been.

We love having Kiki as a DCGFFL sponsor! The support means a lot to our league, and it's the perfect place for grabbing a drink with the teammates after a game. The atmosphere is always electric, the staff is fantastic, and it's the perfect place to unwind. Grateful for the partnership and looking forward to many more seasons together!

$100 for 3 Regular Drinks?!
I went last Saturday and ordered vodka + Red Bull all night—$47 for 3 drinks. That was fine. But at the end of the night, the bartender took advantage of the fact that we were tipsy/drunk and charged us $100 for 3 drinks. “Double “
The price is not logic.
I’ve never seen a place that automatically charges a 20% “service fee.”
Mandatory “auto-gratuity” is actually illegal under the DC Consumer Protection Amendment—you can’t force people to tip.

I went to this bar for the first time yesterday, approached the bartender and asked for a margarita. The price seemed reasonable and I paid 15$. The bartender asked me for my card to put my name in the system, I trusted him, and gave it to him. Today in the morning, it turns out that they charged twice the same cocktail 30$. Don't get ripped off by these people, they are not trustworthy, and I hope they didn't clone the card.
I do not recommend this place if you do not go with someone who knows how to handle it.

Love this place, fun, good atmosphere, friendly bartenders!
People complaining about the 20% auto-gratuity - give me a break!
This is not super-unusual for bars/clubs, and it just does the math for you (I tip 20% anyway), and as a former server myself, it also protects the staff from being completely stiffed on a tab.
Not a big deal for me, some of y'all are trippin! Love this spot! The patio is great!

Kiki Club on U St. - Racial Profiling and Unacceptable Behavior
I am absolutely appalled by the treatment my friend and I experienced at Kiki Club on U St. As two Black gay men, we were not only racially profiled but also physically mistreated by the bouncers at the door. Despite being regular patrons of this club, we were denied entry while three Latino and white individuals were let in right in front of us. When we politely questioned this unfair treatment, the bouncers justified their actions by saying those individuals were “different.” This excuse was not only insulting but blatantly discriminatory.
What made this experience even worse was the fact that the bouncers—who were also Black—put their hands on me and physically pushed me out of the way, even though I was calmly and respectfully showing my ID. The disrespect, both racial and physical, was beyond anything I’ve ever experienced, especially in what is supposed to be a safe and inclusive space for the LGBTQ+ community.
I left feeling humiliated, disrespected, and betrayed by an establishment that I once supported and enjoyed. It’s disheartening to see such divisive and discriminatory behavior within our own community.
I strongly urge others to reconsider supporting this venue until they address their discriminatory practices and take accountability for their staff’s unacceptable behavior. We deserve safe, inclusive spaces where everyone is treated with dignity and respect—not places like Kiki Club, where racial profiling and physical aggression are tolerated.

Stu is the best!
The Bartender on the second floor was so rude. "Thrifty Queen" was an inappropriate comment for a worker to give ro a guest who is literally here to enjoy themselves. I dont understand where he gets off with all the attitude. I don't understand what prompted the misunderstanding. I don't enjoy being identified as someone who may or may not be able to afford new versus old and it was highly elitist. I expected more from a Bartender in DC who wasted no time on being disrespectful, forgetting his lively hood depends on the tips of his guests. I recommend staying on the first level the upstairs isn't work the elbow grease on the leges. Complete waste of time. Don't assume your guests have or don't have money. You're in hospitality, baby. Get it together. Make no mistake. The space is gorg...the bartending staff is out if line for the unnecessary comments and hateful approach to "flirting". For the record, I'm taken...and I don't go for gold digging Bartender with subpar services. And that's the tea, Kiki.
