Coffee lover here (and, no not Starbucks or dunkin kind). Wydown was AMAZING! Their house made mocha syrup and lavender syrup were perfect, not too sweet either!!The blackberry and lavender scone was DELICIOUS!!!The environment was also calming and inviting. Seats along the windows were perfect to get some sun and enjoy a cup of coffee.

The breakfast sandwich was delicious. My only complaint is the lack of seating but that's more my needs. It's a must visit.

Cute coffee spot. But do not go here unless you are willing to wait 15 minutes to get a latte. Happens every time I make the mistake of going here.

One of my go-to coffee shops in DC! Great tasting iced coffee, delicious scones and breakfast sandwiches, and all reasonably priced!

Lavender or cinnamon latte and the cherry almond scone are the best! Service is great and it can get a little crowded but usually moves pretty quickly.

Three months ago, I gave a 5 star review. I went to Wydown every single weekend for a cinnamon roll, bacon egg and cheese, and matcha. The sandwich was flavorful and the cinnamon roll was gooey. The matcha was so smooth (and actually still is). I have been to wydown 3 times in the last two months, and the quality of the food has seriously declined. Both the sandwich and cinnamon roll have been very dry all three visits. My boyfriend also used to get an amazing London Fog, but it has recently been either watery or lacking vanilla. I really looked forward to my weekly Wydown visits, so I hope they make improvement, and I will happily return!

Asked the barista to surprise me. No idea what I got. Best cup of coffee I've had in a minute.

I got a dirty chai latte and a blackberry lavender scone and they were both delicious! The latte was a bit sweet for my taste but the ratio of milk to chai to espresso was perfect. The scone was extremely tasty- the blackberries were incorporated well without making the scone soggy and the lavender was perfectly present. Highly recommend!!

Even when it's a snowy winter day I'll always be an iced coffee girly. This was one of the first coffee shops i went to when I moved to DC and it has never disappointed. It's cozy and clean and the baristas are super kind. The baked goods are amazing- not usually a scone girl but I will make an exception for here. Their cherry almond scone is *chefs kiss*. Extra great if you stop by early when they're warm. The coffee is great. I usually get some type of iced latte. Today was vanilla but when they have lavender available I always for for that. This will always be a go-to.

Good cortado, but this place kinda has a "chain" vibe. The Coffee Bar nearby has a much better neighborhood vibe. Breakfast biscuit was okay.
