This place is amazing and the owner is awesome! 10/10 on the food.

Food bland. Service, order at counter, (a smile goes a long way). Nothing welcoming about service. Atmosphere, (not inviting). I ordered out of pity because I was there. Would I return No, not at this time.

We visited Tiki Taco because of the good Google reviews. First of all: the food is really good. We had extremely good tacos, a large portion of chicken wings and a vegetarian poke. Unfortunately, the ambience is not really great. The restaurant is located in the basement, accessible via a small staircase. It only has a few seats and no toilet. Our table (the only one for more than two people) was unfortunately very sticky, we had to clean it first.

Hawaiian tacos in a basement location. The people working there are nice.

The concept of reinventing the taco with a Hawaiian twist is intriguing, but unfortunately, the execution falls short. The pork belly was overly salty, resembling the taste of spam rather than a well-balanced dish. The jerk chicken lacked any real jerk seasoning and didn’t taste particularly fresh. That said, service was fast, which was a plus. With some refinement in flavor and ingredient quality, this place could live up to its creative concept.

Definitely unprofessional when it comes constructive criticism the tacos were extremely basic for the pricing I didn't understand why he would not have traditional tacos on the menu coming from somebody who has experience in food I feel like a food critic

Tasty food from a fusion menu. Interesting mix of meat for the tacos. The taco trio is filling and the tacos are well filled. There’s chicken, salmon, kalbi, tofu, brisket when they have the special. More beverage options would be nice. We didn’t try the poke. The texture of the shave ice was pretty good, the lillikoi syrup was red and not really passion fruit tasting, but fine; my friend said the coconut was nice; they didn’t have any toppings for shave ice.

There are a few tables with stool seating. Friendly and helpful staff.

A definitely hole in the wall gem. We got 2 trios and couldn’t complain about any of the 6 tacos. The salmon and coconut shrimp tacos were really good as was the jerk chicken and cheese stake. Potato mac salad was as expected- pretty good. The pineapple upside down cake at the end was very good. Most of the food felt like it was made and frozen, the manager did assure us that everything was made from scratch at the restaurant. There isn’t much place to sit if you are looking for a sit down but the Hawaiian tacos are still worth trying.

Absolutely loved this spot. Was craving Hawaiian food and this place didn't disappoint. Got the Ahi tuna poke bowl and wife got the Loco moco platter. Both were absolutely delicious. The only critique was that I wanted more! Ended up also getting the kalbi beef taco and the jerk chicken taco which were also scarfed down. We wanted a small lunch but I ended up feasting. Will definitely be back here when back in the DC area.

Part of the magic of finding this hidden gem is going down the stairs in-between 2 other eateries. In retrospect, I don’t know why people were at the other places and not here, they certainly must not have tried the food yet.
We had a variety of delicious tacos, a beautiful poke bowl (incredibly fresh flavors), and the warmed-up upside-down pineapple cake was stunning.

Ummmm OMG; can we just have way more Tiki Tacos in the world, this place and everyone in it would just be happy forever!

Seriously, so freaking, friggen, amazingly, awesome! Probably because I was very hung over, and had absolutely no idea what I needed, and out of nowhere, we saw the sign for tiki tacos, and Hawaiian shaved ice!! I was cured.

You must try every, single, taco. Period. No excuses; try every, single, one.
