Edgewater is a new location but the amount of people coming in to order didn't allow for the pizza to be not quality. everything was severely burnt to the point where you couldn't taste anything but burnt crust. the potential is there but it was mediocre at best. the over hour wait also didnt help

While this was the opening, it’s was hard to believe that a chain restaurant could not provide quality food. Our pizza was either burnt or undercooked, it took 50+ minutes for an order we were told was going to take 30, overall was not a great experience for the price we paid. I’m willing to try it again once they’re settled in but it was not to the standard I would expect.

Timber has fantastic pizza and great people! I end up there for lunch almost every Friday.

My first time here , I’m super picky about my pizza and I love that thr crust was light & not so heavy The pizza was delicious

The food is good. But it is impossible to sit outside because of the fly.

I like to consider myself a patient person having worked in the service industry for many years. This was quite possibly one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had.

After being told they were out of what I ordered, I got a disgusted look and rude comments about how I should just order and it was my fault for not knowing what to do next when instructed by other staff to go to the end of the line. Incredibly rude and unnecessary. The sad thing is I was really looking forward to this and will not returning to D.c for a very long time

Our sister Debbie passed away unexpectedly. Debbie was a very casual person. She didn't want a funeral. So we had a graveside service. I got permission from the church to have Timber Pizza come to the cemetery because my sister would have gotten a big kick out of that. The pizza was great, the service was wonderful, the two gentlemen were very friendly. When I told Kevin that sausage gravy and biscuits was my sister's favorite food, they brought it and cooked the biscuits in the wood fired oven. It was incredible, and so compassionate. Kevin was kind and patient with the level of crazy I've been putting out there for the past two weeks. I can't recommend them highly enough.

This is one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. It’s my favorite in DC. Literally just devoured the “Shirley”(substitute chorizo for pepperoni and thank me later) I’m already thinking about when’s the next time I’ll get another one. Probably tomorrow if I’m being honest. Sorry not sorry, it’s really that good! I’ve tried the “Green Monster” , “Pretty in Pepperoni” and the “Margherita”. All of them, excellent! Whatever you do, don’t forget the hot honey. It’s like the cherry on top. You can taste the quality in the ingredients. My only wish is that they offered a larger size.

The Bentley is tried and true. Timber can ALMOST do no wrong- except not offer their pizza during lunchtime hours. But we can’t stay mad for long, this is a place to keep coming back to over and over again.

Pizza was great. Fantastic vegetarian options in my opinion. It's a little tough to get a table at busy hours, they only have 3 tables inside and 2 tables outside. The staff is very kind and helpful and worked to save us a table despite being a little cramped on space.
