Everyone in our group had a mild stomach ache after. The ramen came out tepid at best. The egg was barely cooked and still had runny whites. The pulled pork that they use is dry. In my opinion it was the worst ramen I've ever had. I definitely lost points with my friends for recommending the place. Also had the pork belly buns the meaty part of the pork belly was also very dry. Never again!

Tofu dish wasn’t silken and lacked flavor - thin down miso dressing, dial up grated ginger and drizzle on top. Add shibazuke on side for color.Ramen showed up almost hot but was lacking in toppings a bit.Drinks arrived about 20 min apart and I had remind server about my hot sake.Vibe could improve by playing music in one genre ( metal to harp music was jarring)Overall I think they’ve had their day and need an overhaul of the menu.

Not primed for groups of more than 4 but once you get a spot it’s completely worth it. Probably the best ramen you can get in DC.

Really delicious and awesome vibe! This is a creative Asian place where I would say noodles are their forte. The area is really small and cozy, with great decor. They only seat about 20 people at a time in their space, so I would reserve or come early. We came as they opened and were seated as a party of 5.For food, LOVE the brontosaurus! The broth is excellent and rich but too too rich, nicely smoked ribs, excellent selection of side veggies and the noodles had a great texture. The noodles in the mazemans were the same noodles as the brontosaurus, but the mazeman has no broth and so I prefer the brontosaurus. The ribs in the brontosaurus could’ve been more tender but I still loved it overall! Pork buns were good as well. Beautiful presentation and great taste on all! And nice edgy underground atmosphere/decor and reasonable prices.Vegetarian options: Mushroom ramen

One of the best ramen places I've been to here in D.C. The fact that they took my soy allergy into consideration, and the hostess was on point about making sure I didn't eat anything with soy, was beyond amazing! Will definitely come back here again when traveling around D.C.Dietary restrictions: If you have soy allergies, please let them know ahead of time and they will be able to help you out.Wheelchair accessibility: So this place is located up a flight of stairs on a second floor. I don't know if they have an elevator, but did notice that they have a bar on the first floor. They might be able to serve you on the first floor.

Ramen was good. Atmosphere is really cool but odd sitting. Service was very good and all were friendly !

Loved the food at Toki! The Toki classic could have been more flavorful but the Taipei curry chicken ramen was tasty. Our bartender Chris made us a fantastic drink, a yuzu margarita. Would love to see it on the permanent menu!

While visiting, my friend thought we would enjoy that food before heading to the airport. It was my favorite restaurant of the trip. I love incredible flowers paired with absolutely no pretension. Perfect environment. Perfect food. Perfect personality.

I'm reading my review from 11 years ago and laughing. $12 ramen would be a steal now lol. The ramen is up to $19. Is that in line with inflation? It's still an excellent broth. The egg is a perfect cream. Like not solid, not liquid. Sorta plasma. The noodles are soft but not mushy. Really just a perfect bowl. They've also upped their drink game. The cocktails are so good especially their sour riff with baijiu. And many sakes to choose. And they now take reservations!! So all in all they've earned that fifth star. Ambiance still super hipster.

Good food, bad service. Upon arriving, host told me there's an hour time limit. Cool, I can eat fast. So I sit down (it's bar-style seating). I'm given a cup for water. But no water ever shows up. The people to my left and right get water, my cup sat dry the entire visit.Cool, I'll order a drink from the bar. Pretty good drink! But the person to my right leaves, and an employee immediately comes and sprays a spray cleaner extremely close to my drink.I ordered the Toki Classic ramen and some kimchi, both tasty. The egg for the ramen was slightly undercooked but that's fine.I finish eating. 5...10...15....20 minutes go by before anyone stops by with a check. During that 20 minute wait, a host comes up to remind me that there are other people waiting to be seated (even though all my food is gone and my drink is empty).Getting the check, an extra 18% service charge is tacked on. Granted, this is listed on their QR code menu, but if you don't scroll all the way to the bottom (like me), you won't see it.Just an all around poor experience. Wouldnt recommend.

The food was slightly below average. Cool atmosphere but they really need to get better cooks or improve recipes. Not happy. But again, kinda cool being up in top floor.

So so good! I would suggest making reservations because the restaurant is very tiny.

This is the best ramen I've ever had (aside New York's Chinatown, but that's a whole different experience!). The fried chicken ramen is insanely incredible and the DRINKS omg. The service is quick and amazing. The ambiance is very cozy. Be sure to make a reservation!
