The food was amazing, just don't use the bathroom there. It's shared with their club. The line gets very confusing and the bathroom itself was trashed. The sushi and drinks were fantastic though! Everyone working there was very friendly!
The music was too loud. The restaurant set up for a large party but did not have the waiters/waitresses necessary to support the party. They basically forgot about the rest of the restaurant. Food to value was overall fair.
The service was terrible. We barely got approached by our waiter. We had to wait forever to be acknowledged, and it wasn't even packed in there. in our waiters breath smelled absolutely horrible and I almost feel like he went out of his way to talk super close to us.
First of all this patio is cute but can be chilly on a cold night even with the space heaters on. The website is also falsely advertising their happy hour days and times. On the website it says happy hour ends at 10, but at the restaurant it says 7. We told the waiter this and his response was “yea it says that on the website but that's wrong”. Since this is the reason we ate there it was extremely disappointing. The rolls are also extremely overpriced. Specialty rolls are $18 and they are very tiny. Same amount and size as basic rolls. Drinks are very expensive. Waiter rude and unhelpful. All in all not the best experience.
Wait time was incredibly long for the few items received. The sushi roll received was edible - not outstanding. The other dish was a solid 7 out of 10.

Probably the worst food I've had in DC. Patio was cold. Didn't even take the leftovers because we didn't want to finished the meal. 22% automatic gratuity is kind of ridiculous when the food and environment is sub par.
The food wasn't great and the service was alright. For a table of three they charged a 22% of included gratuity when I waited almost 30 min for a cup of water after asking two different servers for it...

We went for Happy Hour on Black Friday. It was fairly empty..around 530pm. We sat in the back dining area and it was cute. The back does have heaters but if it's windy and cold, you will keep your coat on.
We specifically wanted the Espresso Martinis since its hard to find on Happy Hour in the city. The price is $9 and they are delish! They even put pics in the foam..too adorable! I love the hanging chairs. The servers were attentive. Always making sure we were ok, if we needed anything, and taking finished plates out our way. Food was quick! Shrimp tempura was tasty. Edamame was good. Everything was going well, we were cool but a bit nippy but the experience was so good we got over it. Ince we were ready, we asked for the check, server gave it cool no worries. Were still Happy as can be.. All of a sudden, my friend screams and I see "Ratatouille" scurring across the floor under tables.. pass our feet. I jumped up bc why why whhhyyyy are you in here. One of the food runners asks are we ok and what happened and we tell him we just saw and felt a rat across our feet. I show him the direction it went..u der the tables across from us. The main server comes and says oh we didn't see it. Ummm sir I'm sure YOU didn't but yall have vermon in your establishment. We get up grab the check and follow him to the register bc I'm not staying here another minute unnecessary. I paid my bill at the register and left!!!!!! The manager never said a word, not an apology or anything. Really disappointed bc the Happy Hour prices are PERFECT!!!! I WILL ABSOLUTELY NEVER GO BACK! If the restaurant reads this, invest in pest control!

Went on a slow, cold Sunday afternoon so it wasn't not busy at all. For some reason, though, our server was difficult to find throughout our meal. Food/drinks were really good, & they had fun holiday themed drink decorations. Definitely bundle up though if you're seated on the patio.
Cute layout. Nice happy hour. Drinks are just ok .

Came in for one drink and we were surprised it was empty until we got our bill! We ordered two drinks - one captain and coke and one Tito’s and cranberry and our bill was almost 40 dollars! We have been to 4 places within a half mile of this tonight and ordered the exact same thing and not paid over 22 once! Do NOT GO HERE! They have lost their mind charging the prices they do which is why they are empty.

I went to Tokyo pearl on a Friday night where the drinks were free for the lady’s until a certain time. I opened a tab to buy drinks for my friends and gave them my card to hold. I went back for 2nd round of drinks and they lost my card, they were unable to find my card and stated there was no charge under my name. I had only one drink and they charged me for it . So , how is it they can’t find my card or transaction. Seems kind of sus. 🤔. I won’t be coming back here. Be careful the ladies at the bar will scam you.
saw a security guard assault a girl by pushing her out of a bathroom when she was next in line then let people after her pee, but not her. super weird

The security guards assault women. I was in line to use the restroom and the security guards would touch my waste and butt. Then when I said something they kicked us out. Inappropriate behavior from the staff and disrespectful.

We were here on Tuesday evening, there was a party with Latin music, very nice place, nice music and nice people.
The girl at the entrance who helped us by speaking in Italian was very kind and smiling. Thank you!
