Been in DC for four nights. Ate at various restaurants all recommended. This was by a country mile the best eating experience. Couldn't recommend this place highly enough. *****
Our dinner was mediocre. The menu was uninspired. A beautiful view and good service but definitely not worth the money. Another restaurant just doing the bare minimum food wise because of its prime location. Very disappointing.
Convenient location for dinner before Kennedy Center show with an easy walk along the river. Great seats with a river view and soft ambient lighting. Good seafood dishes with attentive service.
From the time we arrived until we left, our first dining experience at this restaurant was very impressed. We were seated immediately and met our waiter, Humberto, who was very personable and polite. We sat inside by a window and enjoyed the scenic view of the river and docked boats. Our appetizer of calamari was delicious. This was followed by Pesto Rigatoni and Roasted Cod topped with Crabmeat. The portions were sizable. We took leftovers to enjoy later. We ended with a scoop of Mango Sorbet. Very pleased and definitely will return.
The restaurant was almost empty. The food was good. The menu offered several good dishes and prices were reasonable. No ambience.
It was lovely to dine outside. However it became dark and there were no lights outside. They brought a little candle but it was hard to see the food. Food was good. We especially enjoyed the cheesy crab dip, crab cakes and the branzino fish.
My waiters Jake and Anar were outstanding. They went out of their way to ensure that this 76 year old man had a fantastic dining experience. Rocky Twyman, Founder Oprah for Nobel Peace Prize Crusade
Disappointed with the service. Waitress showed up a couple times to take out order and than disappeared, we had to find another waiter to ask for things. The drinks were mediocre and in small cups for the price, dinner menu was average along with the cooking. I got the peel and serve shrimp and it was overcooked and rubbery. View was amazing, however.
Great food great service thanks for making our night special everything was amazing oysters, mussels , and the steak meals we had thanks

Food was just okay; nothing spectacular. Our waiter kept rushing our party of five. Wouldn't return.

BAD SERVICE
We booked, and on arrival they showed us to our seat, then got us a glass of water, we then ready to order and the runner who brought our water said the waiter will be with us shortly. There must have been only about 5 tables so they weren't busy at all but it took more than 10 minutes and no waiter appeared so we got up and left and went across to Farmer's fishers bakers where we got fantastic service

Solid choice with a great view. The seafood was fresh and I loved the portion size on my shrimp tacos.
My wife and I just had a lunch at this place. My blackened catfish on brioche was a little bit of disappointment. Plain and almost tasteless that is not what I expected from blackened fish; it should be full of flavor. Also, they did not have any alternatives to the brioche. My wife liked her shrimp tacos, noting a lot of shrimp in it. Good service and atmosphere overall.
