Service was extremely slow. But food was tasty. Enough space to accommodate large groups but def plan for a 2hr or longer meal.

We didn't have to wait long to sit so that was a plus. The food was pretty good. We had the shrimp tacos and fried jumbo shrimp. The fries weren't good, they were old and cold but the jumbo shrimp was hot and tasty. Our waiter was not very tentative to us and the table was wobbly. I hated the tables and chairs outside and the umbrella had holes in it. Restaurant has potential if the owner put some money into his establishment. The view off the water was perfect. Overall we had an ok time.

Everything's fine, the only complaint I have is the shrimp fried rice was too salty that was not edible.

Visited for dinner during the week. Although we got a reservation, it didn't appear like one was needed as it was fairly empty. We had the the Roasted Cedar Planked Salmon, Crab Cakes, and Spare Ribs. Everything came out hot. The service seemed chaotic to us however as different servers kept coming over and asking the same questions. We weren't sure who our main server was and seemed like we were an inconvenience when we asked one of them for condiments.

I used a Groupon for this visit and it did not disappoint. I tried the barbecue ribs this time and they were amazing. I thought they made a mistake and accidentally gave me a whole rack of ribs but they didn't. They were that big. Juicy, meaty and flavorful. It will definitely go in the rotation.

I went in with a Groupon for the Pre-Fixed menu. Simply put, the mixed green salad, branzino & salmon were amazing and hats off to the chef for that. However, my server was horrible. I am not sure because I came in with my Groupon that my service was not the same as the guest around me. Where the server engaged with them, we had bare minimum contact. The only time the server spoke was to tell us the menu, took the orders and made sure when he dropped off the check to make sure I knew how much was spent before the discount. The comment about the price after the service took me by surprise as to be bluntly honest, I could only chock up the rudeness to my server being homophobic. My final complaint as I was hoping to end my boyfriends birthday with a chocolate martini or something in the dessert category of drinks was told by the homophobic server that the bartender didn't have the ingredients for that but could do an espresso martini. What kind of full bar in a major city doesn't crème de cacao or have a competent enough bartender to make something on hand but as the manager gave the excuse, “the bartender is busy.” I guess if you're heterosexual this place will be welcoming to you, if you're not, good luck. Maybe the next couple will be lucky enough to have a better experience. Huge shoutout to the server for making sure my boyfriend's birthday and our last dinner in DC was mediocre at best, that zero tip is exactly what I personally think of you.

We visit Tony and Joe's via the Groupon discount often, however this was the first time we were not pleased with the service, food and atmosphere. The service was slow, as it was crowded; the food was not seasoned well, as the brazino fish was bland and veggies were very wet, and the atmosphere was horrible, as there was a dog inside the restaurant near where we sat. We were not happy with a dog inside a restaurant and needs to be addressed-the dog smelled bad; animals should be outside. We may not return in the future.

I was there relatively late, so the dining section was closed but the kitchen was still open. I ordered the charcoal grilled oysters and they were good, but there was a lot of pieces of shell inside the oyster itself .
I really enjoyed the eggplant fried Bronzino, however the rice pilaf had a very weird taste and smelled like fresh seafood, which is very offputting so I ended up not eating it but everything else that we had was really good.

Its been years since I have been to T&J. From the calamari, house salad, and the great crab cake it was superb. My friend had the whole fried fish and it was fresh and succulent. We also had charred veggies and dessert. Give T&J a try. You will NOT be disappointed.

My second time here and it was just as good as the first time. The tall black guy, the manager “Kembe” he was absolutely wonderful on both of our visits. Very hospitable and friendly servers. I use the Groupon and it is probably the best deal on Groupon. I love eating here. It’s not 9.5 or 9.9 it is 10/10. The food is nice portions and absolutely delicious. It has a nice date night vibe, ambiance is on point, location is on point, food is on point, service is on point, pricing is fair. My new favorite restaurant in DC and I’m a tough critic. This place is gold.

We always have a great time at Tony & Joe’s Seafood Place! This was our second time here, and it definitely won’t be our last.

The service is consistently friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrive. The staff does a great job balancing professionalism with a relaxed, upbeat energy that fits the vibe perfectly.

The atmosphere is one of the best parts — lively but not overwhelming, with a fun waterfront feel. The views are absolutely beautiful.

Between the great service, amazing views, and overall vibe, it’s a spot we genuinely enjoy coming back to. Can’t wait for our next visit!
